Called in a delivery order at 7:21 PM. After getting my total, I tried to pay over the phone, but the young guy who took my order told me their credit card machine wasn't working and I'd have to pay cash. I don't have $100 in cash, so I have to drive 20 minutes round trip to go to an ATM, plus pay a service fee. 45 minutes comes and goes. I have a very hungry family, including 3 young kids, so after an hour I try to call the restaurant to get an ETA on our delivery. They close at 9, but I get no answer. I call repeatedly for nearly 20 minutes and get no answer. At this point, my family of five has been waiting nearly an hour and a half (twice the time promised when I placed the order), we have no food, and no one will pick up the phone. At 8:58 PM, I finally receive a call. It's the same young guy who took my order. He tells me he came to deliver our food but no one was here or answered the door. He didn't try to call me until he returned to the restaurant, and called from the restaurant phone number. I am livid, because obviously we have been eagerly awaiting our dinner. I ask to speak to a manager, am told there isn't one, then handed off to a very rude and shrill lady who interrupted me as I was trying to tell her what was going on, and who blamed me for giving the guy the "wrong address" (nope, I didn't, it was written down on the same paper I had written our order on when I called it in). My husband could literally hear her raising her voice to yell over top of me from across the room as I tried to talk. Again, I ask for a manager. There's no manager, and none will be available until tomorrow. So, I have wasted nearly 2 hours waiting for food that is never coming, and dealing with a loud, snotty and rude woman, who instead of apologizing, blamed me. It's past 9pm, now, and guess what?! Every other restaurant is closed.
I drove 20 minutes to go to an ATM in order to purchase $89 worth of food and pay a delivery tip. I paid a fee to use that ATM.
Delivery guy never tried to call me when he was supposedly attempting to deliver our food. I didn't receive a call until over an hour and a half after I placed our order, and from the store.
From 8:40 until 8:58, I called at least a dozen times, with no answer. The restaurant's hours of business clearly state they do not close until 9 PM, however I was unable to get any answer at all.
Tara is rude, loud, and interrupts customers as they're trying to talk. She is highly unprofessional and clearly has no place in customer service. I'm not sure why she (or apparently anyone else) couldn't answer the phone.
Since every other family restaurant was closed by the time we realized we weren't going to receive the food we ordered, my three children ate a nutritious dinner of gas station snacks.
This is by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered, and this business obviously has irresponsible and unprofessional business practices. Eagerly anticipating a response from the owner/manager about this horrid experience.
DON'T waste your time or money...
Read moreLooking for something a bit different tonight my wife and I visited to order a Large Cheese Bacon Green Pepper and Onion pizza, to dine in.
When we entered the place was empty, but quite literally immediately after we were seated the place (maybe 7 tables, and 6 counter seats) filled up in 10 minutes.
Our server, who did not avail us of her name was a blonde woman, maybe 27-34 years old , serving alone.
She was busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger and holding her own very well.
The pizza was served very quickly and came out hot, fresh, and delicious by Island standards (compared to the trash they sell at Island Pizza), and could even be called GOOD in big pizza areas like NYC, Buffalo, Detroit, NJ, and Chicago.
A few drawbacks from this evening.
The building (if equipped) needs an AC re-charge, or something else. It was HOT! (Ovens and overcrowding, probably caused this)
The table of 2 women and 2 young children behind us were AWFUL. The kids were hot, they were hungry, and they were NOT quiet. Their awful parents did nothing to mitigate this. If I acted as those children did, at that age, I wouldn’t be here to write this review.
Their soda machine had apparently pooped the bed. They only had water or alcohol to drink. What self-respecting restaurant doesn’t have sweet tea in the South? Get with the times or go to the store and buy canned soda, and charge a couple bucks a can to customers until your machine is back in order.
They bring a weird unbalanced table prop thing that the pizza rests on, (or is supposed to rest on), but it was not ideal, because of how unbalanced it was.
The Food and Service and PRICING were AMAZING!
The atmosphere was definitely NOT…(tonight). ...
Read moreDecided to try this place out after seeing 4+ stars in google. Went in and got a seat. The server kept standing behind us so we had to crane around to see her and would walk halfway away before we could ask for anything. I sat there with an empty drink for half my meal. We ordered the pizza which was burnt and not good at all. We asked for silverware and the server was rude about the fact that we wanted silverware (and napkins). I went to the bathroom and there were loose tiles laying on the floor like they didn't care enough to clean up after a do it yourself project. Overall I felt unwelcomed and like a burden to the staff every time I asked for something, the food was not amazing and at the end the server asked if we wanted checks all on one or seperate and when we said seperate then started saying they weren't supposed to split checks and again made us feel like a burden to have to split our checks into 2 checks...
