Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Santa Ana

If I could give ZERO STARS for this location I would I’m very upset and disappointed with this chipotle staff I went in to pick up my co-workers orders and order myself. I ordered a kids build your own I always get a side of pico de Gallo salasa and a side of cheese.I’ve NEVER been told that I have to pay for sides. I’ve been to many different chipotles to order the same exact thing and no one has ever been so rude and say “oh you have to pay for sides”.I ask the cashier why they charged for sides and her answer was that they’ve always charged for sides of salsa. As I asked to speak to a manager her answer was he’s gonna say the same thing in a rude tone of voice what kind of customer service is that?! Then the manager came out and I asked him why in another location I visited 2 DAYS AGO they didn’t charge me for sides and for this one they do.So he went and said they’re no longer allowed to give out sides for kids meals he still have them to me but I’m still extremely upset with the lack of customer service this location has. I’d rather drive further than come here again. Like previous reviews here no OTHER CHIPOTLES CHARGE FOR SIDES ONLY THIS PLACE EXTREMELY...

Came in to order food today, it was close to closing but they were still open, the workers just served a couple in front of me so if they served them I’d image I would be able to be served too, I stood there waiting patiently for them to take my order, a female worker with blue hair completely ignored me, as well as two other workers, one short one with long hair and a taller man with a beard. I stood there still waiting for over 5 minutes, until I finally got the attention of one of the other female workers who was actually playing and climbing the moving racks they put the food on, I asked if they were still serving and she said they didn’t have any more food even though they had just served the couple in front of me and purposely ignored me so it would it closing time and they would not have to serve me, i politely said thank you and left, even though I felt extremely extremely offended all three workers chose to ignore me even though they all saw me standing there waiting patiently. I do plan on returning only to ask for the number or email for their corporate, regardless of if they had food left they should have acknowledged me...

What’s so good about Chipotle? When you’re hungry.. you know!

Now typically we review unique travel destinations and local mom-and-pop food places on this account. But I would really be amiss if I didn’t mention Chipotle, especially given the large number of times I’ve gave in to its craving.

Chipotle rapidly caught on in the early 2000s and has become a once-or-twice a month go-to fast food restaurant for many of us. We’ve almost memorized the menu - the veggie bowl comes with exceptionally delicious lemony guacamole! I’ve recently also become a fan of their vegan tofu Sofritas bowl, but of course “the guac is extra” 😂

If you haven’t been a Chipotle, you’re truly missing out. It’s literally the most Americanized version of the “authentic” Mexican food.. LOL! Check it out — this particular one on Santa Ana even has free delivery...
