Would leave a negative review but honestly since they re-opened they have been very non-inclusive towards my doggy Zelda and I. Weird because twice in a row I have either been told or given the vibes that I wasn’t welcomed simply because I had my doggy here.
First scenario: This was in the AM/Afternoon. Shift lead or manager millennial head a$s lady adamantly asked if my doggy was a service animal and made me feel un-welcomed. Oddly enough she didn’t ask the same question to the lady that came in 20 minutes later with her pug. I finished my projects as fast as I could and got out before getting the most condescending “have a good day” from the same millennial lady that didn’t want me there.
Second scenario: Customer service was fantastic. If I didn’t know any better, I would’ve assumed this was the redemption arc of the story. He asked my doggy’s name and got friendly with her. I thought to myself “OK this could be different.” I was wrong. It seemed like the shift lead for the night was coordinating that same gentleman (that was nice to my dog and I) to tell me that we can’t stay there. He changed vibes so quick. he had told me that my dog can’t stay here. I know this reasoning was from the shift lead for the night because she was giving me the cold me the cold shoulder as I looked at her… Anyway this place sucks……ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE POC (or DEI as they like to call us now).
I say this last part because the woman that brought her pug in and got a better treatment looked nothing like me.
White people, though, y’all are welcomed here like always...
Read moreThankful for the manager who was working the day I visited (10/9/2021). I had been saving the full CBTL punch cards, and finally had a chance to use them as I was visiting OC.
All the other CBTL locations I visited or called would not accept the punch cards anymore, but this Santa Ana location did.
In fact, I had over 5 full punch cards to use up and was relieved when the manager stated it was ok for me to hand them out for other customers to redeem.
CBTL no longer exists in the bay area, only in SoCal, so to be able to use the free drink cards, was a relief, especially since so much $$$ went into filling up those punch cards/loyalty rewards.
The only down part of my order was that 4 people who came in after me & ordered after me, received their orders before I did and left. I thought it was inconsiderate to leave my almost ready to serve drink on the counter, and serve the customers behind me first. I watched as the manager picked up the container that had my drink ingredients in it and place it on the blender, it took all of 30 secs for it to be blended before the finished product was handed to me. No apology was given for the mishap. The girl, just discounted my waiting and the order that the drink orders came in.
It was an unfortunate surprise after I let so many other customers go ahead of me AND they all received free drinks, b/c of me. Thus the 4...
Read moreI went to this location at 5:53am on 2/24/25 and received very poor customer service by an employee with the name of “Liz” (dark hair, wearing a beanie). I am an EMT and was in uniform with my partner. Due to my medical condition I have to check my blood sugar before I taking food/drinks that contain sugar. I laid my glucometer out on the table and asked if I could use the restroom because I need to wash my hands for an accurate reading. Liz responded with attitude and said I had to buy something before I could use the restroom. I told her that we are going to be buying items right after and she still refused to let me use the restroom. I was unable to make a purchase without knowing if my blood sugar was too low or too high so my partner and I had no choice but to leave. I am very unsatisfied with your employees professionalism and demeanor. I encourage coffee bean to educate their employees on the importance of medical necessity and customer service that...
