Dunkin' — Restaurant in Santa Ana

Usually I visit and go inside however in a rush tonight so I went through the drive to try there new cotton 🍬 candy frozen drink. The menu said $2.16 however i was charged $2.69 I decided to ask why I was going to be charged different the girl working the drive through (super sweet) asked the lead why there was a difference. She stated it was a limited time only offer. And told me I was getting charged $2.69. Did I still want the idem. I stated it's really not even a money issue it was that I was being charged a different amount than shown on the menu. And technicaly I should get charged for the menu price. She stated that I had to pay the $2.69. Pretty rude even. My daughter wanted to order her own idem and the girl offered a discount (super sweet cashier). Her even offering made up for the others rude and stressful attitude. I have worked the industry of simullar many years as a Corporate Manager training owners, Operations, Sales, Production and Marketing Wholesale eat.... And customer service is a big deal to keep the returning customer and one bad visit and negative visit get 20+ or more reviews told to friends and family. Now I would have expected the better treatment from the lead on shift. However I felt the need to bring it to the attention of others that wasn't the case. I was treated better by the cashier. In saying that I wonder what Dunkin" s policey is regarded to in this manner other than just to let management know that the menu needed the price update. How many other customers are getting charged higher prices than listed without being aware. And when notified of the error rudely dismissed. Well I guess we'll just have to see if they care about getting my unsatisfied resolve post rectified. I'll update should...

I love DD! The first thing that I noticed walking in was the orange railing to guide the handicap ramp leading up to the entrance into the store. My favorite part as I enter is the "D" door handle! The theme throughout the store was very pleasant! Everything was DD which was very cute to me because all of my kids are named with a "D"!

I especially love the service here! Hector was quick to greet me as I approached the counter! He was very patient & helped me pick out the perfect selections of donuts & munchkins! He went above & beyond to separate my large order of munchkins by the choices that each of my kids picked! This definitely made my kids campers & sold me to come back again! My coffee was perfect with a added shot of espresso.

The employees reflects the management. The manager Martha always greets me as I walk in. I thought it was out of customer service courtesy. But I just learned that she genuinely recognizes me by face & notices when I go MIA for awhile.

I do wish that they carry my favorite plain Old Fashioned Munchkins! I did not let the little things bother me! I went ahead & ordered the large size. It tasted just the way I like...

Genuinely great and friendly customer service, usually quick stops and rushed orders. You can't do anything about the indecisive customers, that's nobody else's problem but theirs.

The staff here are very accommodating if you're having problems with your app, too. They'll even scan it for you, even though there's a self-scanner option right in the POS terminals. They'll generally tell you if there's a promo going on too.

Parking can kind of be a hassle sometimes, also only because of the customers, but the lot is split with compact spots on the north side and regular spots on the south side, with only one disabled parking spot available. Getting to them can be tricky, since the entrance is right at an intersection, but that's also based on if people keep that section clear or not. There's also a drive-thru window, but I haven't used it yet. Fair warning, be careful, because I've seen people try to enter through the exit of the drive-thru window.

I haven't used the restrooms yet, but you have to be buzzed in, which they don't mind doing at all. I've seen some regulars, who could be squatters, so that policy might be in place specifically...
