The food was mediocre but the service was far worse.
Let's start with the food. You can tell that the quality of the ingredients is low based s off the pricing. Spoiler! Anyone offering you shrimp ceviche for less than $10 should be a major red flag. My wife ordered it and as you can see from the picture it's basically mayonnaise salad with a few pieces of shrimp sprinkled on top.
The entrees were not much better, the "filet mignon" kabobs being chewy pieces of cardboard served on a bed of stale rice. With how the food tasted i can only imagine what their take home meal prep food must tasye like the following days.
Finally the service was non-existant. I watched the people at the bar who waited for their bill for at least 15-minutes looking for someone to come out of the back room. To top that when i asked a server for some Napkins (I later found out the gentlemen is the "manager") he told me there were some at the bar even though every other table had a napkin holder.
What really grossed out my wife and I was watching the manager use an old towel to wipe down the tables next us. You can tell they were durty because the smell that came from the wiped tables was putrid and we could smell it from our seats.
It's unfortunate because the ambiance is not bad but, when I go out to eat I would like the food to be good, the service to be nice, and MOST IMPORTANT for the restaurant to be...
Read moreThe food was great but the frontline employees that were working there at the time were making me and my partner uncomfortable, and discriminated against us; Specifically Ari called us a derogatory name in Farsi which I won't even specify in this review it's so disrespectful. I paid for the food and tipped over 20%. Later, when I came back to pick up my food and I was at the salsa bar my partner and I were being stared at by three employees, and I was told I was using a lot of the complimentary condiments. I pulled out my wallet and said I'm happy to pay whatever is needed. They wouldn't charge me no matter how much I insisted and stood there, still staring. One employee told my partner he was staring because we are unusual, not because any rules are being broken. I gathered my partner to leave, and she pulled aside Ari to let her know how uncomfortable she was and she's happy to follow the rules and was more than willing to pay for the courtesy salsa bar. Ari became very confrontational and instigated an argument wherein she spoke derogatory farsi to my partner, perhaps assuming that I couldn't hear and that she...
Read moreThis is a new place and the workers here are extremely polite and atmosphere is nice. BUT becareful if you order one of their lunch specials. They maybe using old fish that's about to go bad. The reason why I said that is because I ordered their red snapper lunch special today. On the way home, it smelled very fishy in my car, and I took it home and put it in the refrigerator to eat it later for dinner. I came home and I put it in the microwave to reheat it. It still smelled very fishy, but I figured they won't serve me bad fish. I took a one small bite and I knew something was wrong because I felt like I was about to throw up. So stopped eating. Thank God because my stomach start to hurt and had to go to bathroom. This felt very familiar because I got a food poisoning from Subway while back. I was going to keep the fish in the refrigerator overnight so I can complain to the restaurant next day but I could stand the fish smell so chucked it. Just becareful. If it smells very fishy,...
