came here yesterday afternoon and honestly I wasn’t going to leave a review but the attitude the guy gave me wasn’t Necessary, I had gotten two Thai teas one small light ice n the other large no ice , n a breakfast sandwich n the cured porked, he had gotten done doing the teas the guy, knew what he was doing because he even smirked and he put it where they hand out the food , but I saw they weren’t filled like honestly? If I’m paying 5$-7.99$ I would at least expect it to be filled almost to the top . Not Even close The small Thai tea was filled less than half mostly just ice and how I know this is because I even checked with an empty cup I had just poured the liquid into the other cup while the ice was still in the “lees cup” , and while the large I’m not even kidding WAS literally less than half way , are you guys charging for the ice ??? I even asked the guy and he rolled his eyes saying if I wanted it “full” I’d be another dollar ? Well that’s literally why I got the large cus I expected it to be full , but anyways I still paid the dollar and yet it still wasn’t full this time it was half , he snatched the cup from my hand .I don’t understand you guys are charging for the ice now is that...
Read moreHad the Chicken bahn mi sandwhich, it didnt have pate which is what i thought regular bahn mi had (at my fault maybe) overall was okay. The chicken though was bland and the vegetables were standard but good, it stood out most. The resturaunt was mainly the problem. Stepped in and it smelled very very foul (nasty smells are clear indicator of bacteria with anything) I dont even have a much sensitive nose but even then i knew my boyfriend and i were not dining in, the smell was unbearable and we opted to eating in the car. The person who served our order pressed an automated call out number and left our things half bagged like it wasnt ready, yet she didnt come back. We were the Only ones there it wasnt busy for her to properly hand it out?... I put the sandwhiches in the bag and grab napkins, i was dissapointed to see that the napkin tray was dirty as well, it had dust gathered in it like a dustpan with those folded napkins, the napkins werent used so it was obvious it was not a trash bin. If it wasnt clear enough I’d say don’t go here, i feel you may get...
Read moreLee's is a chain of Vietnamese food, best known for their Banh Mi. I stopped by on a Friday for a quick take out lunch. It's possible at some Lee's to get either a baguette bread or a more round football shaped bread, and I selected the #11 Special Combination on the default baguette. I find the baguette easier to eat (less wide). For the price the size of the banh mi was appropriate. Yes it's possible to get cheaper banh mi in the San Gabriel Valley, but I have not seen anything that cheap in the Santa Ana area. Between the banh mi and a large tea I was fully satiated. The flavor on the banh mi was a bit lacking though. Despite having three types of meat, the strongest flavor was the jalapeño peppers, of which there were only thin slices. I examined the bread and visibly saw some spread, but cannot tell you what it tastes like. I also didn't see any late on the banh mi, which I thought was default and would definitely be included on the Special...
