Unfortunately we had a bad experience here do to poor leadership.
We entered the establishment at around 8:23pm (restaurant closes at 9:30pm per Google) and we're quickly given looks of disdain by the staff.
But we paid it no mind went to the counter and ordered. We planned to sit in the establishment and have a nice meal with the family but unfortunately we're told that they are only taking take out orders because they are closing.
We stated that the hours of operation are until 9:30pm and that they were closing a whole hour sooner than what was advertised. Talk about false advertisement.
Clearly there was some tom foolery going in here by the leadership not wanting to stick around till closing hours. It's fine we ordered our food payed $96 dollars for 3 boxes of pizza (taste good but price is definitely not good).
While we waited we decided to play a few games in the arcade and one of the lovely staff (sarcasm) older lady decided to spray chemicals to clean right near my childs face almost spraying our 2 year old lucly we were able to move her away in time.
Then the older lady proceeded to mumble something in Spanish. Could not make it out but sure sounded like she was doing that intentionally.
Clearly the staff lacks common courtesy for children and accountability for establishment hours.
I'd avoid this place if possible the Shakey's in Anaheim is much better.
With this kind of attitude by the staff and leadership it will not be a mystery as to why they may close down sooner than later in the foreseeable future.
If your read this be cautious as the times are not good for those...
Read moreFirst time in California ever and I heard about this place from my family friend who was a local growing up in that area so she told me about all the craze that this place had. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the chicken was unbelievably surprising. Very juicy, flavorful, and super crispy that is if you get the fried chicken I'm not talking about the chicken legs because that was another story. Chicken legs kind of felt rubbery compared to the actual fried Chicken which felt like real chicken. The pizza could definitely use some work I've had gas station Pizza that is somewhat better. I think if you're going in there you should definitely order the tiny pizzas that they have because they have more flavor and they're a lot more crispy but that's just my recommendation. Overall pretty busy staff so you won't be talking to them much, presentation feels like a sit down and eat restaurant the arcade just kind of feels out of place to me, and pretty decent food for a pretty decent price in California I got the $11.99 special for a pizza, fried chicken, and some fries and I was very impressed with how...
