Taqueria Guerrero — Restaurant in Santa Ana

I was here on 9/10/23 Let me just tell you this place is garbage. I order some tacos and my husband order a dish well you have to get the tacos outside the restaurant as the owner is cooking them outside. Well let me tell you hygiene is some thing they don’t have. The owner does not wear gloves to get the food. He would grab his phone and seat in his truck infront and come back to serve without washing his hand. There was another guy taking care of the carne of pastor and let me tell you he was cleaning his teeth with his fingers and then getting the carne del pastor from el trompo. To top it off the most disgusting thing happen as I had started eating a taco I notice one of my tacos had a freaking fly! The Damm fly was fried with the asada meat. Imagine how many more fly were in the meat. It’s an open place where he is cooking and not clean at all. To top it off they have such bad customer service. I ask for a refund and the waitress went to tell the owner and he started talking bad. Oh and remember about the dish plate my husband ordered well it had already been 20 min and they had not started it. Please chose wisely I do not recommend this place at all. It used to be and alright place years ago...

Food was good, I had the 3 taco combo. Got Pastor, Lengua and birria. All were very good. I'm a huge al pastor fan, and this one has to be 2nd favorite, they do it on the "trompo" and it's flavorful 👍🏽. Refried beans and rice are average. My lady got the menudo doesnt come with ""grano" aka hominy but it's one of the best we've had in OC.

Service was below average, table was dirty, we cleaned it and when the waitress came she didn't care about taking the dirty napkins we used. She didn't offer us water and only swung by to get our order, bring the food and the bill but was served out pretty fast.

Prices were reasonable! Even a bit cheaper than most places which serve the same food.

Given it 4 stars for flavor and quality of food. Will come back again to try other dishes and to try the tacos in the afternoon as they...

It says on google they are closed at 11pm. Came in at 10pm and their kitchen was closed. Thankfully they had a taco stand right in front of this restaurant so that’s just what I ended up getting. Thing is, you’d have to go in and pay for the tacos INSIDE the restaurant. I was able to dine in the restaurant. The condiments are self serve. The hot sauces and green hot sauce were already almost out. Thankfully they had tapatio that I can use for the tacos.
