I'm new to Santa Barbara. Back home I'd get a meatball sub like once a week from a mom and pop place Italian restaurant.(They were born in Milan). My grandmother is from Florence Italy. I have found my new go to place for subs. Meatballs are close to my old place, and not too far off from my grandmother. The important thing is they are better than any other that have been stuffed inside bread and handed to me. Sauce is good. But the bread. Made fresh there. Wow! What a fantastic deal! I had my first Fatte's Pizza and was blown away by the quality and the amount of ingredients on my sticky fingers, pizza. Yes you can get delivery, and you still get two for one. The two medium sticky finger pizzas were a lot of food! We also got a small side salad and it was crisp and had a good price point. We've tried many pizza places in Santa Barbara. We settled on Fatte's and Gino's. Fatte's makes a nice pizza. Their two for one deals means I get the pie I like and my wife gets her favorite. Two mediums leaves plenty left over for one or two more meals. There are plenty of toppings and the guys at Fatte's are very friendly.
