Gotta keep adding things to this, there's no way 4 shots with ice barely fills the bottom of the cup. I think I'm done with all Starbucks altogether, it's not just this store. I spoke to another store and found out the training at the company has gone way downhill. I worked at a super busy store when I was a barista, I hear lots of excuses these days but the prices keep going up. I guess I'm the problem so I'll just leave and everyone can enjoy lower standards. I'm lowering another star because for the second time in the same day you pay for white chocolate and get bitter coffee and poorly stirred. They all say my drink isn't hard, well then why does it seem to be such a struggle? If you don't stir chocolate sauces before adding ice what you get is a bitter cold shot that then has to be mixed and if it's just 3 shots then one sip of a $5 drink doesn't taste good. I was a barista, I know how easy it is to mix in syrup and sauces. Hadn't had a problem at this store until now but it's a company wide problem . Everyone says my drink is very easy but yet again, it trips up people. Three shots, white chocolate, add ice. That's it. But it comes out like a layered bitter shot with syrup on bottom. I say something and I get back "yeah, well I had to out the white chocolate on the bottom". Yeah, no crap, that's how you make it, now stir it please. I always have to feel rude and condescending Everytime I have to ask someone to stir because yeah, it's kinda simple. So what do I do? Ask to remake and make it more awkward, ask to stir and frustrated the service members, or just quietly pay $5 and tip for a drink I don't like...
Read moreThe parking lot is hard to access unless you put the store to your right. NO frills here! There's not really any café to sit in (there are a row of chairs along the window, but it's a very small space), no phone chargers/plugs or anything. There was a homeless man sitting in one of the only two tables outside, so there wasn't really anywhere left to sit unless you wanted to be right next to him, or a few inches away on the other side of the glass. It felt rude when I sat inside because I still felt like I was in his space somehow. The bathroom was pretty clean, the drink tasted good. The vibe seemed pretty much like you were walking into a room that you had been in all day, so no one seemed to acknowledge that you were there - not ignoring you, just a generally bored atmosphere. I had some time to kill between a dentist appointment and a gig, and usually Starbucks has that fourth place vibe, but not this one. I was one of only a few cars in the lot, so I didn't even want to sit in my car while I waited. I felt like wherever I could sit would be in someone's way, so I won't be going back. Denny's is down the street a couple of blocks and they have free...
Read moreI’ve spent many an afternoon on the patio talking with friends. And when it gets chilly, the fire pit is the perfect place to sit and warm your hands.
If the outside isn’t your cup of tea, the indoor area is very well lit and an ideal environment to get some work done or sit and have a chat with a friend. I’ve tutored a number of students at this place and there’s always plenty of or counter space to spread books, papers and laptops.
For being a chain coffee place, this particular spot has a lot to offer, and it’s in a very convenient location to boot. Not to mention the Go club that I used to attend and met here multiple times a week.
That was my experience when this was the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Reading through some of the reviews of this place as a Starbucks gives me a different impression. It sounds like they have some work to do in the quality of service they deliver to customers. Good luck and I hope...
