Denny's — Restaurant in Santa Clara

I always go to this specific Dennys location since it’s near the gym. My girlfriend and I had went to this Dennys after working out. Had our order taken the usual eating. But a missing key point was that our server never came to check on us. So every single time I had to go to the front desk to ask for whatever. And whenever we go eat here, they always outcast me because I don’t speak Spanish and would pin point their attention to my girlfriend since she speaks Spanish. Once we were done eating I went to the front desk to pay but the server had spoken to my girlfriend about something in Spanish. After we left she had told me that the server said “you guys come here a lot huh? But you don’t tip, do you guys not like to tip?” In Spanish. Her response was that I do the paying not her. And the server quickly turned down the conversation saying “never mind don’t worry it’s fine” first off never say that to a customer that’s disrespectful because tips are not required and I always usually tip so I don’t know what they’re talking about. Why should I even tip them if they ignore me they never check up on us and take their sweet time over 10 minuets seating us when it’s not even busy sometimes whenever we go here to eat. I’m always outcasted and feel disrespected every single time we eat here. And even though I still tip them whenever they do all of that. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENNY'S! My friend and I went this morning and we were treated horribly. We were shocked and disgusted. We were not greeted and we had to wait a long while before anyone even noticed us. We were told they were on their "lunch break" so we literally had to wait to be seated for 10-12 minutes. I could not believe this. Do not have an open sign of 24 hours if you cannot treat and serve your customers properly. Everyone's got to eat and everyone deserves a fair lunch break on their shifts, but this was handled unprofessionally.

After we were finally seated we were treated like an inconvenience. The Hispanic server uttered something in Spanish and I know Spanish. It was out of line. We didn't even get all the food we ordered. We were not expecting refills of water, and it is weird to say that is a good thing because we didn't get it. We ate fast and tried to get outta there as quick as possible. We still even had to pay despite how poorly we were treated by this male Hispanic server.

My friend and I have black listed this location. I repeat, do not go here. It's better to go to the other Santa Clara location. My encounter happened between the hours of 4:30am to roughly 6am. If you can help it don't even stop here during the early hours because there are either not enough employees available or employees that don't give a damn about respect. I actually want to give zero stars, unfortunately there is no option for it. Anyway, I have been to this place like 3-4 times. My husband has been going to this outlet since 4 years. My husband n I visited it yesterday and it was a shocking and a bitter experience. We waited for someone to seat us and one of the men seated us on the right side of the cashier area (considering the 2 areas- one is right side to the cashier area and another left side which is a little inside). The place where he seated us was freaking cold as AC was on blast. So we requested the waiter to move our seats to the other side as the whole right side area was cold, he said okay and we moved to the other side. We waited for like 20min for someone to come take our order and then my husband went to call someone, he said "can someone please take our order, we are ready" and shockingly the waiter's response was "I seated to here and you guys moved so I cannot serve you there"

We got so annoyed and left. We had requested for the change. If this was the case he could have told us in the beginning so we wouldn't have waited 30min in this place.
