The person running the drive through tonight rushed me as I ordered, asking what else, what else, does that complete your order as I was speaking and had only ordered one thing. When I said I had more to order, he asked me to wait, then did the same thing as I ordered. I spoke quickly and had my order ready. I wasn't taking my time to order or making him wait for my next item. He was interrupting my ordering to ask what else.
When he passed me my food, he handed it to me and let go before I had a chance to grab it. When i caught it, the bag ripped, and my order fell to the ground. He said whoa careful, you didn't grab the bag." He didn't give me a chance to grab it. I proceeded to pick up the mess on the ground and put it in the ledge so other drivers wouldn't run over it and mess up their cars with the sauce packets and what-not. He said, "Stop, we will clean up "your" mess and remake your food. We waited another 5 minutes in the parking lot, and when he brought my food out, he said, "Are you ready? I don't want you to drop it again." The audacity. I didn't drop it, he hand it to me rudely, and the bag ripped. This was not my fault, and I 100% did not deserve to be berated by some guy in the drive-thru who obviously needs to slow down a bit and not rush the customers. He did not include ranch when he brought the order the second time and didn't wait around long enough for me to look at the order. We had jalapeño poppers without ranch. We did get honey mustard, which we didn't ask for. This person should not be running the drive thru. Absolutely awful service. I have never been treated so rudely in a druve-thru. Maybe he is handling drunk people or rude people all evening. I get it, but I am not one of those people. 2 thumbs down.

The food came out a bit poorly, not much lettuce was packed in the burger; came out as if I asked for light lettuce. Patties were warm and a bit dry but not cold but the fries were fresh which was really nice. I'm not a really picky person and I still ate my food regardless but I did want to point out that the experience here isn't as good as other locations I've been to. I'm just telling it like it is. When I lived in the bay years ago I always enjoyed the one out on De Anza near Saratoga, that one was always consistent along with the one on Campbell Ave and the other one near Stanford University on El Camino. Read moreI went to Jack in the Box at 2485 Augustine Dr Santa Clara CA at 11:20 am today 3/8/2024 to pick up a mobile order they substituted chicken when I order fish there was 2 different orders where this done I explained to the lady at the drive thru window that how can you substitute and don't tell the customer when you go to pick up, the order you can have a food allergy I was also told that in order to receive a refund I would have to go in the mobile app or online to receive a refund there is nowhere on the app or the website where you can cancel and get a refund I was also told to call the only number you can call is the investor number. I have disputed these charges with my credit card and would also demand that Jack in the box reverse these charges and when they make substitutions that they inform the customer and they can make the decision whether they want to cancel and be refunded.
