A mixed experience at La Fontana, Santa Clara
I recently dined at La Fontana and ordered the Chilean Sea Bass paired with a Lagunitas IPA. The sea bass was undoubtedly the highlight—perfectly cooked with a delicate, flaky texture and a beautifully seared exterior. The flavors were well-balanced, light yet satisfying, showcasing the freshness of the fish. Pairing it with the bold and hoppy notes of the Lagunitas IPA added a nice contrast and rounded out the meal.

Read moreWe were in the area and we decided to eat here. Also, my coworkers recommended it too.
I had the prime rib, it was so buttery soft and delicious! Also, we ordered the cioppino, fish and chips, and grilled sea bass. Everyone really enjoyed their dish. The staff was friendly and helpful. The service was quick, since we're the only customers.
Tip-If there's a 49er game and you're not staying @ the hotel, you won't be allowed to park here just to dine. Don't bother giving them a made up room number, they'll confirm the name matches the room number. Fortunately we reserved a room during a game.
They will suggest to park elsewhere. Bring cash for parking, there is several parking areas but it's expensive. I've seen prices up to $40...
