Overall have to say that this cold stone is placed in a great spot. It's right in his center near other great places to get dinner such as Olive Garden, Red Robin's, ETC. It's also got a nice little town that you can sit at while eating the ice cream.
the inside of the parlor is very clean, a little bit cramps so you really can't sit inside and eat which isn't too much of a problem considering the fact that it's really nice outside.
In general my favorite thing to get at Cold Stone would be the cookie doughn't you want some. As always my ice cream craving was definitely fulfilled.
The reason that I have to mark it down to a three stars is purely because of the staff on the evening shift the day I went. Which for the sake of management that was September 1st. I was in there about 7:45 through 8 p.m. I've got to say that I'm heavily disappointed in the attitude of the staff that was there.
The staff were not smiling, they really have the attitude of not wanting to be there. They really weren't crying when it came to mixing the ice cream. Like I get that cold stone isn't a fantastic job, but it is still your job you need to take it seriously like it or not. If you don't want to work there then don't work there but don't ruin other people's experiences by having a...
Read moreMy family and I recently visited this Cold Stone location for a sweet treat. Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience due to the staff.
We began by looking at the ice cream cakes in the freezer and one staff member rudely said "are you going to order something?". We were planning on purchasing a cake, but felt rushed and decided to just place our ice cream order. We entered the line at the wrong end and were reprimanded again. After asking what we wanted, they did not say one word to us. They were clearly annoyed that customers had walked in the door, although the store was completely empty other than our group of 5.
Additionally, the woman scooping our ice cream had long hair in a loose/low ponytail with most of it hanging out in the front. Her hair was nearly touching our ice cream. I'm not asking for hairnets to be worn but employees should at least have their hair pulled back to avoid it dangling above the ice cream.
My family and I were kind to the staff regardless of their behavior, but I wish I had said something about how they treated us...
Read moreWe have visited the store, about 6 miles from our home, on an approximately monthly basis since it opened long ago. We love the Coldstone brand and look for it when we travel. We always tip generously.
Our recent experience with this particular store is disheartening. Before COVID, we could watch our orders being made. We often would catch omissions or mistakes and mention stuff like, "you forgot the coconut" or "no, not chocolate, caramel." Since when can no longer watch, when we get home, we often find mistakes in our orders like wrong or missing ingredients. Our last order was completely wrong (ice cream, mix-ins and toppings). The store policy is to bring back the product or "check your order before you leave." This doesn't work when you have multiple orders from family and live miles away. This particular store is a franchise and poorly run. I am changing my previous review from 3 stars to 1 based on a very bad customer service experience with...
