DONT GO TO THIS STORE FOR GIFT CARDS AND BABY REGISTRY. The worst experience ever. I was harrassed by the male night shift manager by the name of Bryan or Adam, I was too hurt to remember his name that at first he doesnt want to give. To think we chose Target for our baby shower (with 200 guests) to be the official store for our gifts.Im so surprised with this Target Store. It was a last minute shopping for this weekend. First, the guy in the cash register. I asked him, how much is this, he answered, i dont know, i asked again, what am I going to do with this and he said maybe you should look for it. WOW! Im at the cash register, ready to check out. Also, didnt asked me if I want bags for my purchases and assume that I will just put all my merchandise in the cart. I was the one to ask if they have bags, and he said oh, i didnt know that tou want bags. WOW again! I am buying 300 plus worth of merchandise and he is looking at me with dismay because its 11:15pm and they are about to close the store. I guess the customer service just vanishes when its closing time. They dont need sales anymore. Then, one of my gift card doesn't work. We got 1000 plus goft cards from our baby shower. I got upset and they said they cant do anything about it. They said it was used in Marino Valley on June 5 according to the tel number that we called. I live in Santa Clarita 90 miles away from Moreno Valley and they said it was used there. We got the gift card on June 4, its impossible for us to just. Use that the next day. I just took that gift card out from the envelope. WOW TARGET! I said okay, ill just call them and dispute it just like the next person suggested. I said okay, how much is my balance. She gave me a balance of 200 with out crediting my store credit. And when the second person Asked the cashier, he saID I DONT KNOW. That store credit was 120 plus and he doesnt know? Apparently, hw trow it away in the trasg can. I got upset more then the Manager came into the picture and instead of pacifying the situation he blow it up more by saying to me, YOU ARE BEING LOUD AND ITS NOT HER FAULT THAT THE CARD IS NOT WORKING, while pointing his finger to me. And this is all on the video. He was trying to intimidate me to the extent that i feel like im being attacked. I said Im a customer, you should be mediating with the problem and not making it worse. I was in retail for 25 years, this is the worst manager i have ever met. I said, okay. Im getting out of here and Im not buying all these anymore. He doesnt care, maybe because Im using a gift card and its considered past sale so it doeant matter anymore. Maybe because that night, i look like a nobody with my long rugged dress and my hispanic and asian color. Thats why this white manager didnt respect me and my rights...
Read moreIt's very disorganized to the point where I worry about accessibility for people who use mobility aids like wheelchairs and walkers and those with balance issues as it's easy to trip. This isn't necessarily the fault of the employees, though; they're clearly overworked and underpaid. The lines at checkout are very long because they don't hire enough people and expect 1 employee to do the work of 5. The Target in Canyon Country is much better and cleaner in my opinion.
Like another reviewer said, don't buy electronics from here. I've written what happened below.
I tried to buy a Google Pixel 6 here and when I opened the box in my car, it was a Samsung phone in a plastic baggy. The phone wasn't marked as "used" or anything and I paid the normal amount, which was lower than standard price since there was a sale happening.
I brought it back to return it, where I was given the option to either have the money refunded to my card (which could take a few days) or just get cash. I chose cash, and tried to find the same phone in many other stores around the valley, but couldn't find any in stock.
I knew they had one more in stock at this Target, and I thought the odds of the same thing happening twice were low. I bought it, asked if it was OK if I opened it in-store in the electronics section that I purchased it in to make sure the same thing wouldn't happen, and found another Samsung phone...
I was instructed to go to returns, which I did, and was informed that since I paid in cash (that the store gave me..), the best they could do is stord credit.
I felt stuck, so I accepted and ended up just buying the phone online and finally getting it, but I definitely wouldn't recommend shopping for anything...
Read moreI love target and I probably spend half of my life and savings here. But after my experience today, I have a sour taste in my mouth. Specifically with this store. I always knew that the people that worked here were not as friendly as the other store in our town, but today was my first experience directly. People have become so lazy at their jobs and they want to do the bare minimum.
Today I went into target to take use of their cat and jack return policy. As stated on their website, you can return cat and Jack items up to 365 days as long as you have proof of purchase. After waiting in the line for 15 minutes and It became my turn, I noticed that the line got longer, so I suggested that the people behind me can go ahead of me since I know mine might take up a little bit more time. As I said that, the girl that was working the customer service desk quickly said well we donât do returns without tags anymore. Itâs our new policy. I was embarrassed and just decided to Go ahead and believe that in fact was the new policy. In the parking lot, I decided to call target company itself And they said that itâs not true and I can return without the tags. I also decided to call the other local store in my area and she confirmed that that is not the policy as well.
Not only was I embarrassed but I wasted my time even coming to this store. Save yourself from having your day ruined and just go to the golden valley store. The view is nicer and so are the...
