I am an Interior Designer and this store has lost me as a customer indefinitely. The manager who checked out my items said I would be able to return what my client didnât want as long as I had the tags. I told her I will organize all tags and make it easy for them. I purchased 11/11/22. My client did not keep any items. I returned 11/23/22. I kept every tag very organized as promised in each their own ziplock baggies. I had the receipts. The manager who checked out the item and the associate gave me a lot of attitude that I had tags organized in baggies for them and told me differently that new management (since the day I purchased items) have changed the policy and now tags must not be removed. Wow. Convenient change in information since the day I purchased from them. First issue was a Throwâs tag that they tried to say didnât match the receipt and i will get store credit. I refused store credit because of course the tag matched. They realized they made an error and was able to figure it out. Next item was two identical pillows. Each of these pillows were tagged with different item numbers and one tag was used twice at the time of purchase so they tried again to say that I will receive store credit. I pulled the same two pillows off the floor which were also tagged with two separate item numbers and literally had to hold the managers hand explaining how her product has been tagged incorrectly and that I will not accept store credit. After a lengthly Debate and a comment that âI would not be shopping for my clients at home goods any longerâ she finally agreed to return all items. It doesnât end their. It has been over 15 business days and I still have not received the refund on my credit card. I called home goods and they said as long as I have the return receipt it is all good on their end. I called my credit card company and they said it should have posted within 15 business days max! I now disputed the amount. What a headache! If you are a designer I recommend any other place to do business since this company will not support partnerships with designers and in return cost them money in interest fees on their credit card account since the return has...
Read moreI had a very off putting encounter today with one of your staff. As I was pushing my cart through an aisle there was an elderly woman in front of me who stopped to look at merchandise, because I didnât want to rush her I just waited behind with my cart. While I was waiting I spotted a pillow 5 feet away and went to look at it for no more than 10 seconds, when I turned back to my cart, a staff member was pushing my cart away and I said oh sorry thatâs my cart and she condescendingly started to lecture me on not leaving my cart unattended in the aisle, which I understand and am very courteous of this however in this particular situation did she want me to ram my cart over the elderly woman? It was so ridiculous because I had stepped away from my cart for just a few moments and returned to a rude employee giving me a lecture. I understand retail can be stressful but one should learn to treat others with respect especially when they let teenagers run around the store causing a ruckus and breaking glass yet choose to target me for their demeaning behavior....
Read morePlease stop referring Select Express & Logistics as your delivery service! If you had read Yelp and BBB for New York & New Jersey (Their Headquarters) you'll see nothing but lists of complaints (one Star's). The drivers do NOT deliver on the promised day, no one can find the drivers, they cancel to go on other deliveries, and in my case, I had to contact several people in their corporate office to even get my delivery. My opinion is: the drivers give us the impression they are making cash deliveries, with their own agenda, and get around to delivering HG items when they damn well feel like it! I have also contacted the store Manager about this huge problem! We bought our cabinet on Sunday and only got our delivery the following Friday because I raised...
