IHOP — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

Unfortunately we may have gone here for the last time. My husband and I I've been going to this particular location since we were dating. More than 20 years ago. We've taken our kids there as they've grown and they are now late teenagers and young adults. This place has really become a huge disappointment. We paid $90 on Father's Day for the four of us. $90! Two of us ate off the 55 plus menu. No one enjoyed their breakfast. The eggs were dry, the coffee was horrific, My daughter couldn't eat her hash browns because they tasted so badly, and the greeter didn't make eye contact or even the slightest hint of a smile. The service was okay. Yes it was Father's Day, but we were there way before the crowd. We also ate there on mother's Day, again way before the crowd, and again the food was not good. There is a Denny's right across the street and unfortunately if I want to stay close to home and have breakfast out, I will be going there or even heading out McDonald's. I'm so heartbroken to make this review, but I don't want other people to have to spend their hard earned money on a breakfast that you can make 20 times better, being an average cook or...

I don't know what it is with this IHOP but it never fails! As I'm sitting here right now waiting ... my daughter, niece and myself been here since 9:57am was told the wait time was gonna be 20 minutes so we stayed and asked to be seated at a booth. So has we waiting the 20 minutes pass by still haven't been called 30 minutes go by so I asked my niece to go ask how much longer, she does and come back telling me 15 more minutes! Really? So we waited 18 minutes later they finally calls and the try sitting us in a table. I told the host we had asked for the a booth her answer to me was " well I don't have one right now so it gonna be another 20 minutes before one clears up! The manager heard and said no there one on the other side sit them there so she did. Once we where seated took 10 minutes for the waitress to come she got our order and before she left she made sure to tell us it was gonna be 40 minutes till we get our food because there backed up in the kitchen. !!!!!!! Are you F*N kidding me.... now we'll see what time will be actually getting our food and getting...

I went in on a busy saturday morning and everything was perfect! I went in with my boyfriend and no wait time, the table was clean and I mean CLEAN! The table smelled clean the menus were disinfected with alcohol, the utensils had no smudge or water marks on them the cleaning staff there should get a raise! The food was AMAZING cooked to perfection from veggies, meats, sweets, it was made with care the cooks deserve a raise too. The waiter was very friendly and attentive checking in on everybody every 5 to 10 minutes or so but not so much as to bother it was more to make sure we had everything anyone needed. I really enjoyed my experience there and I come with family and loved ones so I have to say I am pleased as usual with their service and hope that this review helps others see that they are in good hands if they eat here.
