Lima Limon Peruvian Restaurant — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

I don't like to leave bad reviews but I had the worst experience with them. Ordered delivery and half my order was wrong. I paid a significant amount of money for my food so I immediately called the restaurant and the gentleman who answered the phone told me that it was not his fault and that I had to contact the grubhub driver. I called the grubhub driver to see whether he still had my order with him but he had already delivered it to someone else. At this point, I contacted the restaurant again and told him what was happening. The gentleman told me to give him a minute and he would call me back. I figured he would call the driver back and have him pick up a new and correct order to bring back to me but oh boy was I in for a surprise. After 20 minutes I get the driver knocking on my door with a bag in his hand asking for me to give him back the wrong order. This is NOT okay. There is a NO CONTACT delivery option for a reason. The driver told me that the restaurant told him to pick up my order from the other customer and bring it back to me. They also asked the driver to take the order I had (which I had already opened) and to take it back to the other customer. Again, this is completely unacceptable. Not only is it unprofessional, it is unsafe. There is a SAFER AT HOME ORDER FOR A REASON. I understand that the restaurant is not in charge of the delivery guys but this is not how you handle things. Walked in excited to eat and man, what a let down. Waited 10 minutes at the table without any help, ignored by 8 members of staff sitting around chatting???? Construction half done, visible disrepair and a funeral home atmosphere. Really bad…..

UPDATE to Reply: I was going to let it go, but the lack of ownership and responsibility at this place is just not right. It's a shame because I have been there on many occasions and have had really good food. This issue is not about the food; it's about the service, atmosphere, and taking responsibility.

I was in the right place—I've been there several times. As I walked up, a refrigerator was clearly visible through the window to the immediate left upon entering, tubing was hanging from the bar where three employees were chatting, and I could see past the lady at the cashier and the hostess. Two visible members in the kitchen were cranking out food and working really hard. Meanwhile, there was a parade of at least three servers handling two or three tables, taking several minutes between passes, and completely ignoring my party on several occasions. After ten minutes, we left.

Really great food . I'm always looking for new Peruvian cuisine restaurants to enjoy the food and compare. I drove 1hr 30 min to try this place . I went in a Sunday around 4 pm and didn't have to wait for a table . I ask for tacutacu de churrasco, lomo saltado, ceviche, anticuchos and causa rellena de Pollo. The churrasco was really tender and great flavor, causa with lots of mayo that how I like it, the lomo had lots of flavor and more meat than tomatoes that is just great , the ceviche had fresh fish you could tell. My only minus was the anticuchos they had excellent presentation and big and juicy but they did lacked the typical anticuchos flavor, don't get me wrong I still enjoyed the good heart meat that I love .
