I recently had the pleasure of dining at Royal Tandoor an Indian food restaurant that truly captures the essence of Indian cuisine. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for a delightful dining experience.

To start, I ordered the samosas and pakoras, which were perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor. The accompanying mint chutney added a refreshing touch that complemented the appetizers beautifully.

For the main course, I opted for the butter chicken and palak paneer. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, with tender pieces of chicken that melted in my mouth. The palak paneer, a spinach and cottage cheese dish, was equally impressive with its vibrant green color and perfectly balanced spices. Both dishes were served with fragrant basmati rice and soft, buttery naan that made the meal even more enjoyable.

We have ordered out six times from Royal Tandoor. Yes, the food is good, although sometimes a bit heavy on the oil and butter. The service is not good. I don’t think they communicate with each other at all. One person says one thing and another something else. Two of the six times we ordered, the order arrived as we ordered it with minimal friction. The other four times the following happened: I waited at the bar for thirty minutes until someone realized my order had not been sent to the kitchen after all, but they would send it now. In total one hour fifteen minutes to get the order. One of the dishes we ordered was missing and adjustment was forthcoming when we called to inform them. Just a kind of oh well sorry about that. We were hung up on twice while trying to order and again items in the order were missing. Tonight we called and ordered, but the guy taking our order hung up just as we were about to give our address. We called back and re-ordered. The phone was passed three times. Finally the third person was able to complete the order. That was an hour and forty minutes ago. The food still hasn’t arrived. We’ve called to check and been told. “All the orders are out” but nothing else. We so wanted to love this restaurant. We love Indian food, but this place treats customers badly and isn’t worth the headache.

Update: My husband wanted to try again, because the food is good, and he has better experiences in the past with Royal Tandoor. He's ordered from there twice again. One order did take an hour and a half to arrive but this time the person he spoke with on the phone was helpful and forthright, letting him know they were running behind by half an hour. The second order arrived hot and on time. It really was delicious, so I'm raising my review back to four stars and am so hopeful that in the future the service is again on par with the food, which...

Its one of our favourite place to come . The service is great , everyone is friendly and nice . The food is always fresh. I and our family love visiting here . What I feel is that people usually miss the warm , great and generous service in restaurants these days but here you can surely get that .
