Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

I love Popeyes but by far has to be the worst one in the area. DO NOT GO HERE! Today was my birthday and unfortunately our car was at the mechanic. I could have simply DoorDashed but I wanted to save some money so me and my husband took a bus adventure instead. I had ordered a 12pc family meal which came with 2 large sides and 6 biscuits. I admit it was my fault that I did not check the bag nor did I get a receipt. We finally arrive home and the kids were hungry so I decided to serve them. I had ordered mashed potatoes and fries as the sides. The fries were not there, they only gave us 4 biscuits and the mashed potatoes were not even in a large container. I did not want to eat until I had everything but unfortunately we did not have our car so I had to wait until one our our party guests came so that we can drive back. In the meantime I decided to call to inform them about my order but they would never answer the phone. I had called about 15 times but they would either hang up or would let the phone ring.

I finally got a ride and when I arrived there is a different girl there. She was petite and looked very unprofessional. I explained what had happened and she did not want to help me unless I had provided a receipt. I had told her that I did not have one and that she can check the cameras as proof. I gave all of the information from my order and the time window and told her to even check the register because they keep receipts themselves. She walked over to someone to speak to them about the situation. It was the lady who had helped me earlier. I told her "that was the lady who helped me".

The lady told the petite chola something in Spanish, they were kind of far so I did not make out exactly what she had said but the chola told me "Yes, she remembers helping you but she says that she had given you everything". I told her that was a lie and I asked for a complimentary for the trouble they had given me.

The chola had the nerve to raise her voice and tell me "THAT IS YOUR COMPLIMENTARY. THE FRIES AND THE MASHED POTATOES" I told her "No, that is not a complimentary because that is something that I had paid for and that was not given to me in the first place." She told me "Bring your receipt next time then"

The girl would not budge so I had just let it go. I did not want to be there anymore I just wanted to go back to my birthday party.

I will never go back and I do not recommend anyone to go there. They need to be more strict with the people they hire because it seems like they like to hire liars and people who are rude to their customers. They need...

Sonia understands what Tailor-Made service is all about and it shows in her Leadership to her Team. She is definitely an asset to the Popeyes Chicken company.

I specifically visited the restaurant because I wanted the Chicken Nugget Meal. “Melissa” greeted me at the counter with a smile and a pleasant welcome. I asked her if they would cook my nuggets fresh and without hesitation she said, “no problem.” Melissa spoke with Sonia and they partnered together to happily place my order fresh.

Sonia, was in the back kitchen but was aware of what was happening on the front line and paid attention with a kind friendly acknowledgment and greeting to all the customers that walked in the restaurant for service.

The whole staff was full of positive vibes, very efficient, helpful, friendly and thorough.

Just walked in to place an order, no one else in line at this store. The two female employees were chit chatting infront of me while I patiently waited for them to take my order. The lady promptly pointed me to place my order at the kiosk. I said I dont want to order at a kiosk I would like to order with you. She then pointed at a sign saying all orders at the kiosk. I said no thank you if you won't take my order I will go somewhere else. The one patron in the store said as I was leaving that she not only took his order but gave him a near 50% discount. I dont know if that was a special or what, not my business. Just as I'm getting in my car a few people walk in and she promptly takes the order of a woman that walked in. I enjoy dealing with people and I refuse to work at your restaurant putting in my own order. Especially when you have an employee sitting there not doing anything other than gossiping. I love Popeyes. I will not be visiting this location in the future. I hope the rest in town don't adopt this...
