Update: This is a veteran hostile, imagined class exclusive, and a personal place of private association open 24/7. Not a publicly serving, nor benefiting business. In my considered life evaluation as a professional expert upon delivery of customer service, community engagement and support, and above all, A DEDICATED ADHERANT TOTHE SAFETY OF ALL LIVING HUMANS. To include the aggressively hostile, or violent. It is my duty to be able, as I may, resist such aggression with equal, if not exact projected will, else allow suffering to increase in the world through such tyrannical lopsided power differentials. If the police cannot provide an equal weapon to every registered citizen it contends to 'serve', then the differential is a leading Indicator for the potential for a misunderstanding of natural law to possibly strengthen the false notion that there is any human without value unequivocally demonstrabke in their living existance. To understand that ANY OTHER HUMAN, whether by word, deed, output, projection, or defense against, can ever be breathing yet also be devoid of value is not a statement of that person's degraded or depraved state. The person or persons whom believe any system exists that confers right to permanently end the continued life of another is THE LEADING INDICATOR of a human who has yet to attain maturity. They should not, therefore, as a matter of collective safety, be in a position designated exclusively to be held by a demonstrable, observable, testable, mature human adult. This is a collective and subjective SAFETY ISSUE. As I may, I will continue this Public Service Announcement as it is correlated in natural processes, logic, nature so stridently as to be considered 'law' , as well as adhering to the core principles which may be found in clear, critical analysis of religious concepts, and from those core concepts, the entire religious expression demonstrated to be consistent. The bonus output of such an exercise is to sort clearly human, fear based intention from all others. I stopped by to notify them that some of my fellow veterans recieved the report of my treatment at this PRIVATE PROPERTY called Farrels that maintains an EXCLUSIVE CLIENTELE CONSISTING OF, from my observations in the short time I spent happily spending $55 dollars here on sugary confections and backroom speculations, and might attempt to reach out and see if they could determine what the challenges were, as well as attempt to establish a dialogue. I got yelled at again and threatened. So much for talking anything out. From the scuttlebutt, they generally don't actually like customers. Enough to make a person wonder what is really hiding in the back behind all those donuts, perhaps Wonka and a small indentured...

Large donut place open 24 hrs! We went after 2pm so limited selection left. We taste tested the mini glazed cronut holes, which are like crack = too addicting as they are loaded with sweetness!

Bought the large raspberry filled glazed donuts and found them to be delicious, light, fresh and not cloyingly sweet either! They're pretty big too, were $3.75 ea which are a bit on the pricier side but worth it if you don't gorge on them often. They had humongous donuts/pastries which don't look healthy for single human's consumption but to ea their own.

We'll still get our Safeway donut dozen as they're pretty good too but when in Santa Cruz definitely will be visiting Ferrell's.

Young lady at the counter was lovely...

Stopped in on our way through town at the end of a long day of being in the car. When I walked in, the young man walked up and just kind of stood there looking at me. I asked for a dozen and he said OK, but the first one I picked he said that's not included in the dozen, so I picked another, also not included. So I finally said can you tell me what IS included? He finally said the bottom two rows were. Every question I asked seemed like an inconvenience, short quick answers with no substance. He was so blasé the entire time, like he'd rather be anywhere else in the world doing anything else than helping customers.

The donuts were amazing, fluffy, tasty, yum.... But the service left me with a bad taste...

We recently visited Ferrell’s Donuts on Mission Ave, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We tried the cronut, and it was epic—perfectly crispy on the outside with a soft, flaky interior that just melts in your mouth. We couldn't resist getting a variety of other donuts to take with us, and every single one was a hit. The donuts are not only delicious but also generously sized, making them a great value. On top of that, the service was exceptional. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed quickly and with a smile. This place is a gem, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for top-notch donuts!

Jelly donuts, old-fashioned donuts, maple bars, croissants, and more! Delicious donuts, good coffee, and they're open 24/7! Friendly, low-key staff and fun environment. They have a shelf with stuffed animals. Do not go here if you want a salad--it's all about the carbs. The lighting is really good if you want to read or knit, too.

Come check out the Mission Street location with its new signage and branding. Sadly, gone are the tubs of Marianne’s ice cream but the delicious donuts remain. Word on the street is breakfast sandwiches or something new is coming. Stay tuned and stop by. Parking available and, unlike other locations, cards accepted.
