So I have been to the parish a few times for drinks back before covid hit, well it's been longer than that mainly becuase the service was pretty poor, but I was there drinking with good company so the lack of service did not bother me too bad, if the bartender wanted was more interested in talking to there friends nursing drinks then a thirsty crowd so be it. Yesterday my friend suggested we get take out fron there, never again. I got a burger the came in at $17 and and extra buck for the garlic fries. The garlic fries were honestly pretty good, but the burger was terrible, by far the driest I've had from anywhere ever, I'm not exaggerating see the picture I ordered it medium rare too. There are number of burger places around Santa cruz and Scott's valley that make great burgers. Save yourself the same disappointment.

FISH AND CHIP REVIEW Chips 5/5 Brother. These have to be the best fries I've had on this review journey. Crispy outside, soft inside. Great flavor. Amazing making amazing Fish 3.5/5 Great batter. Massive portions. Great taste. They don't do cod unfortunately but give massive filets of salmon. It's a bit of love and hate. The salmon is great at first but can become overwhelming in a few bites. Cod has a milder taste that serves as a good canvass for the tartar sauce. Still very good, best if shared. We got the pickles and garlic fries. Great big portions. No coleslaw. Didn't have vinegar at the table but I'm sure they would've gave me some if asked. 4.3/5 Overall fish and Chip score

Finding super hots are hard. We just found one. These were arguably the top 3 best wings I have tested but easily the best since I have been reviewing. Usually I would say these were high in price but based on ONLY the quanity, it was priced right. The flats literally fell off the bone. The sauce was not drenched on but just enough for you to taste the flavor and heat. If you love wings and are in the area, I would make this a destination. Steve the bartender was attentive and also informative. Easily best service out of all my reviews as well. Crisp:4.2 Heat: 4.6 Flavor: 4.5 Portion: 4.7 Tender: 4.6 OVR: 4.52 / 5.0
