Let me tell you. went in, got 2 veggie burritos, one with guacamole so they charged extra no biggy at all. Got home, burrito without guacamole was wet and cold. the tortilla was wet. We bared through it. Now, second burrito with guacamole. Ate half way through it and no guacamole. It was nowhere, I couldn’t find it. We took the burrito apart and couldn’t find it but payed extra for it. I was at a loss. Then decided to call and said hey we got a burrito with guacamole and there wasn’t any. instead of being like i’m so sorry let us make u a new one asked for the number and said i wrote guacamole down and the cook remembers putting it in but u can bring it back so we can inspect it and find it for u. Then we said well we already ate half of it cuz we were looking for the guacamole. She said she didn’t charge for guacamole but the total for this burrito was 8.50 and the total for the other burrito with no guacamole was 7.30. so obviously charged for quac. then the lady proceeded to have attitude. I said i’m never coming here again, said i’ll take my business to vallarta. Don’t come here unless u like bad burritos and bad service. Forgot to mention both of us got food poisoning, and can rule out any other food because it was the only thing we ate...

I never write reviews especially cuz I really wanted to like this place! I got veggie nachos, and my bf got a California burrito. We tried the salsa at the salsa bar and one of them tasted a bit sour like something wasn’t right, but I just avoided it and went about eating my food. However my nachos had the same somewhat expired taste, and my boyfriend agreed, so I respectfully asked if I could replace it with the same thing my bf got. The waiter got the owner for me and the owner was immediately extremely defensive, telling me that he makes it the same way every day and no one complains but me. At this point I had my bf handle it because I don’t like confrontation, and he continued to explain that “maybe she just doesn’t like it”. We made it clear we just wanted to replace it with the burrito, and he was only willing to switch it out for us when we paid the difference in price. As a business owner or chef, he should have been more understanding and less defensive. Something was definitely expired, and nothing he said was going to change that. I’ve never experienced anything like this and felt really overwhelmed that I ended up taking my food to go. It tasted better than the nachos, which is why I...

Well the first time I went there we decided to have tacos, with the side of rice and beans. When we got to the hotel and we were ready to eat, and we pulled all the food out of the bag We noticed there was no rice and there were no beans so we had the tacos and they were delicious. I tried calling to let them know they did not complete my order, but all they did was put me on hold and never bothered to pick up so it was my first time and my last time. If you can't take the time to pick up the phone then you have some problems at a restaurant. Even if you're busy you need to be able to answer the phone. I decided to try chimichanga on Mt Herman road, in Scotts valley. Now that place had fantastic service and the food was absolutely delicious. This place was so good I went back and tried the 5lb California burrito carne asada. WOW!!! No way was I going to be able to finish this burrito. This burrito is big and on top of that it is just delicious!!! I did not mind driving the 5 mi...

When you want something really good when you have a winter cold you can order the broth soup with beef, they made mine with chicken. It is very hearty & hit the spot. Also ordered the super chicken taco. This dish Was a large enough portion, with guacamole, beans & rice in the side of a grilled chicken taco. Very fresh & tasty. Served with chips and the salsa bar This is a great location to get fresh to order traditional Mexican dishes. Full menu Generally busy but the service is very efficient and get thru the line quickly Free parking in front parking lot. Off of Mission street.

Best tacos in Santa Cruz!!! Granted, I didn't have tacos anywhere else in Santa Cruz, but I do not imagine any other taco being able to top these. Excellent flavors, the salsa is spicy but great and a good size taco. Husband had a tongue taco and he said it was great. (I don't like my food tasting me back so I stuck with carnitas and carne asada). The kids' burritos were also a 10: generous portions and great flavor. Ceviche tostada was good but not the best I've had. Overall I do recommend you go here if you're nearby.

I came in with my family from San Jose to see the monarch butterflies and then we decided to go to Santa Cruz Taqueria. I’m glad we came over to this Taqueria. We ordered some tacos and traditional aguas frescas, they were absolutely delicious from the first bit to the end. I really recommend stopping by this Santa Cruz Taqueria you will not regret it instead, you would keep coming back every time you get a chance. Their service was incredibly friendly.
