I have to start with this instead of waiting till the end of my rant. If you want better service, go somewhere else. I personally like the one in whittwood town center. I had to sit on this review because I didn't want to post a heated review, but I still feel the same. I went yesterday around noon (sunday, 12 pm). There was a wait, but it went quickly. Once seated, we ordered our drinks. Coke and Sprite (we didn't know they didn't have those). I personally ordered Sprite. So they lady comes back with a mt. Dew and a coffee. She handed my bf the mt.dew and put the coffee center. We told her we didn't order either of those. She said, "You didn't," as she continues to pour the coffee. We asked her to take the coffee that we didn't want it. She said she couldn't. I took the mt.dew, and she came back with pepsi. We had to ask someone else to take the coffee off the table. As for our orders, my bfs came out correctly. Mine, on the other hand, I asked for a pankcake original combo, and it came with strawberries, whip cream, and bananas. I didn't want to deal with her, so I just scrapped off the topings, but it tasted too strong of strawberry syurp. When I asked for regular syurp, she brought 6 togo one and threw it on the table. Lastly, she put the check on the table, and we asked for a to go box. She pasted by us 6 times (about 10 minutes) and didn't look at us once. We finally gave up on the box and decided we would go to the front and pay. She came out of nowhere and said she could process the payment and asked, "You don't want your box" (still no box in hand either). We said no. It's like she knew how bad she was and that if we went to the front, we would say something. Yes, if they asked us "how was your meal". We would have said food was good, but our server was absolutely horrible. I've been here a few times... service was eeehhh ok but this just left me stunned. I won't be going back to this location for a very long...
Read moreMy family went to IHOP with some friends to have a nice breakfast. Our friend arrived at 10:30, but we were going to meet at 11. She arrived early to ask if we can have some tables pushed together because it was a group of ten but it wouldn’t be until 11. We all arrive at 11 or so and are in constant contact with the hostess every 10 minutes or so to see if we have any spaces. It was currently 11:30 am and have not been seated yet. I understood that a group of 10 was a big group so I didn’t mind the wait but we had come an hour before to ask for accommodations. My mom asked the hostess the wait time to be seated and she gave a rude and snarky comment about how they can’t rush people. What pushed us over the edge was we requested in the end to just have 2 separate tables so that we could have a better chance of being seated faster. A group of 7 arrived and waits about 5-10 mins and is seated before us. The two hostesses kept looking at us but would not acknowledge us. She would greet others and seat them while we waited. It was turning 12 and we decided to leave. The two hostesses watched us leave and kept staring as we walked out. Their manager kept walking past us while we were in the waiting area and did not acknowledge us. I could see the attitude change between the hostess when she spoke with us and the other parties. I understand they may have been busy but we waited close to 2 hours and they were seating parties close to our size quickly. The morning shift on Saturdays are rude...
Read moreIts Halloween night and we decided to take our daughter and granddaughters to IHOP. My 7 year old granddaughter made the choice of resturant because she was excited about the Adams Family menu! We were seated and happy to see there were only 2 other occupied tables , great no waiting. After 10 minutes we began to wonder why no one had come over to acknowledge us and take a drink order. We waited about 7 or 8 minutes more now almost 20 minutes total, I did lock eyes wirh manager twice so she was aware we were waiting. I then got up and walked over to the manager and said we've been waiting along time and we would like some drinks. The manager said sure came over to the table at which time a waitress ran up saying wait she proceeded to clock in on the computer and then said so sorry I wasnt ignoring you I was on my break😲. I managed a Doctor's office for 20 years, this was the worst excuse for poor customer service I'd ever heard!!!! I suggested to her that she never say that again to a customer. I feel the manager was the biggest problem she knew the waitress was on her break and should have come over to our table and taken the drink orders. The manager and another employee then sat at another table and proceeded to dine! They had their food before us!!! Just really poor service on every level. We were polite and I did tip however we won't be returning to IHOP Dennys is...
