La Vera Pizzeria — Restaurant in Santa Maria

My husband and I were on a road trip and looked up pizza. The area for dinner. This one was a bit far but the reviews were great. It’s a small shop located in an open air shopping center. We walked into the cozy, traditionally styled pizzeria and were met by Jay. We were between choices and he suggested to make the pizza in halves, half one style, half another so, we did. Our choices for flavors were the “La Vera Signature” for one half of the pie and the “Treasure of La Vera” for the other

YES. Just Yes! Run! Get here as fast as you can!! I am an Italian, raised with tradition and this is the best pizza I’ve ever friggin’ had!!!!!!!!!!! 💯💯💯💯💯😍

ALL fresh ingredients, House made sauces and the most Anazing flavor blends and combos it unbelievable! Also, if you’re hungry, don’t worry!! The toppings alone are over an inch thick! The crust?! Holy crap! It’s seasoned, with what tastes like caramelized garlic amongst other fresh spices and seasonings and baked to PerFecTion!!!!🤌🏼🤌🏼

I have been to La Vera Pizzeria many times because it is the best pizza in Santa Maria. It is owned and operated by a local family who has been around for many years and far surpasses all of the pizza chain restaurants in quality and price. La Vera is the only pizza I get in Santa Maria at this point. My favorite is the combo pizza because they load it with so many toppings! The cheap price does not reflect the quality of the ingredients or the generous servings.

To mix things up, I recently tried a sandwich from there too. This had not been my go-to sandwich place in SM, but after having their pastrami sandwich, I will definitely be going back for more. I never go out of my way to write reviews on the internet, but I was so blown away by this sandwich and their family has been so good to me for so long that I thought this was the least I could do.

Oh and don't forget the buffalo wings! And make sure you get some of their homemade ranch dressing for dipping your pizza, wings,...

I go to this place every Thurs i come from arroyo grande they know my order I love there pizza! But this Friday I showed showed up at 735pm there was a girl that I never saw she was rude rude an said they where closed which sign on window said open it only takes 12 mins to make a pizza this girl has very very poor customer service skills I don’t know if she was having a bad day but she needs to remember that customers pay there pay checks I never had to call my Order in aswell I will Continue to go there but won’t let her take my order I ever heard the other person that knows me say what happened hopefully she will learn from this review that customers...
