Wendy's — Restaurant in Santa Maria

The food here is absolutely horrible. Stopped enroute to San Luis because my husband suggested it. My husband ordered two junior bacon cheeseburgers with a large fry. I ordered a junior cheeseburger. Both our burgers were dry, no condiments on stale bread. This place topped my list for the worst burger ever. I only had two bites of my burger before I tossed it into the trash. The fries were cold and flavorless. My husband wanted to return the food for a refund but I chose not to as we were already on the 101. Wendy's use to be a decent chain. Not anymore..if you want crappy cold hard and dry food..this is the place. Otherwise save your money or stop at the adjacent Wal-Mart for bread and lunchmeat, make your own sandwich...anything would be better than wasting money on a...

I ordered a Baconator with 3 patties and no mayonnaise. I asked for no mayo 3 times. The person who took my order joked about putting extra mayo while I mentioned that he didn't note it on the receipt. There was mayo on the burger when I went to eat it. I went back to have my order remade and later found that the replacement burger was only 2 patties instead of 3. By then my lunch break was nearly over. I went back and asked for a refund at that point. They told me my card would be charged back the $13 but I still havent received my refund over a week later to my account. I like Wendy's food in general but today I paid over $25 for two combos, one burger, one chicken sandwich and a single with cheese and I got a 99 cent cheeseburger instead of my single with cheese. So I"m out 3 dollars or more...since when are 2 medium combos 10 bucks each. I conveniently didn't get my receipt at the drive thru window. I kind of knew my order was going to be screwed up.
