Fast Taco 11 — Restaurant in Santa Monica

I used to come here when I was in college at the art institute when it was still around back in 2103-2017. Almost everyday over 100+ students would come here including myself to order their steak or chicken burrito. Literally was the best thing in terms of flavor and price. A mom and pop shop and absolutely amazing humans who run this place. I haven't been here basically after college and I decided to come and visit. I'm happy to see that they're still there, although the place isn't as what it used to be in terms of "busy" but I'm going to make an effort to come here at least once a week with my family and leave a good review. I would hate to see this place go! The if not the burrito, they're definitely the enchiladas. It is a different flavor profile from like your traditional Mexican food, but it feels like home cooked food and made with love and that's what makes this place. So damn good. Feels like...

I don't know how this place almost has 5 stars? I came here for lunch, I'm on vacation and this was THE WORST FOOD I've had!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! The rice was very dry and had no flavor to it at all, the beans taste old and nasty. The enchilada sauce was sour and gross!!! My boyfriend says his tacos weren't all that great, and both my kids and niece didn't really eat either. The people working there didn't really want to give us our refills for our drinks and seemed mad or something. Didn't seem so friendly and...

They now have a $5 burrito + drink deal. It's exactly $5.00. I handed them a bill with Abraham Lincoln's face on it and didn't get any change back. The size is probably adequate for most people and you can still load up on different salsa bar combinations to put on the handful of chips you get.

I asked for "hot" and didn't taste anything spicy in my burrito.

And also, it's nice that you can get a refill on your drink.
