I went to here after being a regular at the old ice cream spot that was a pretty progressive spot for people but I remember them saying was selling it due to divorce Just left now. WARNING not a welcoming spot for African-Americans patrons all. Young server ignored me for minutes and a Black lady looked at me and then two young White women completely skipped line and she immediately got serviced. The Black lady asked me was that okay and was it intentional and am I okay. I ordered from the older White lady at the counter and ate. Afterwards I went back to the counter to make another order and attempted to talk to the older lady telling her "Hey if they lady ahead of me if she's a regular you might want to apologize to her next time she is in your spot because she was offended by the service I received. I wasn't offended but this isn't a good look on your business." She tells me you don't understand and I tell her it's not good if Black customers seeing other Black customers get ignored." She tells me everyone is equal here and I just cancel my order simply telling her if she's offended there's an issue. She then says "If the lady is offended she can tell me herself." I canceled and politely left.

Read moreI cannot get over the unique, rich, milky, and healthy (in that good, nourishing way) flavor that this crew has cultivated. I get a craving for this place every week and don't feel bad about it because it's all almonds, cashews, and probiotics. Of course, there is sugar, but in the thick of the summer in Santa Monica, there is seriously nothing more refreshing. I've had people that are strictly against vegan (why?!) and they've tasted mine and had to run in and get their own. I love how conscious the place is as well. Very green with compostable utensils and bowls, green certifications, kosher, etc. It's such a summer beach town feel to walk around the area after as well.
This is a must in Santa Monica. Combines so many elements of the culture into one unforgettable and craveable taste.
My favorites are the salters caramels, pistachio, peanut prana, and coffee. I can only speak to their yogurt, but everything else looks dope as well and I will slowly try everything over the years. A friend got a smoothie and it was very fresh and refreshing with no unnecessary ingredients.
Bravo to the owners. I kinda wanna own a...
Read moreI order from here on Uber Eats regularly for my poker game. And while I enjoy the yogurt, they somehow manage to send an incorrect order every single time. Last weekend, we ordered 3 large sized and I medium and the entire order was wrong. While I got a refund from Uber no problem, it’s a real inconvenience. Also when ordering a large order, if one thing or everything is wrong, how do you determine which flavors are which? Sometimes I’ll place an order for 5 or 6 and try to call ahead so they don’t mess it up, and there’s no answer!
Also, the presentation is the worst. If you order magic shell, you get a tiny teaspoon. I’m happy to pay more for a proper proportion! Even when I go into the shop, the presentation is awful. What you see in the photos is a far cry from reality. I brought it up to the owner, and she said the machines are unpredictable. I would recommend show more accurate photos.
So Yogaurt - I’m hoping you get it together. I’m all for small businesses. And this neighborhood needs a good vegan...
