They replied : “This is not price gouging. It’s recycling our hang tags and saving the environment. Those are both OUR barcodes… we would only be price “gouging” ourselves. This is actually quite funny.”

Recycling hang tags is great for the environment, but it doesn't change the fact that the original price was clearly lower. Whether it's 'your' barcode or not, the end result is the same—| paid more than I should have. Calling it 'funny' doesn't make it any less...

I received a Christmas gift from here and tried to come in to exchange the gift (new and with the receipt) on January 2. Because the item was bought before Christmas (obviously!) they wouldn’t honor any kind of an exchange as it’s past their standard 2 week return policy from date of purchase.
