Best Pensacola Local Bar!

Stumbled upon the hidden gem and so glad we did. What one may call a local bar…exactly what we love! A small friendly open air bar attached to the backside of a liquor store and looking onto a marina.

Grabbed two bar stools (probably only 5 or so) and the bartender Steven was friendly and attentive even when the place got busy.

Happened to be a birthday party and they made us feel like one of the locals. Food and shots for everyone! Thank you Wayne for eating before the ladies lol.

The owner, Lopaka, was talking with everyone, as I don’t think he knows a stranger. Provided us great information for an upcoming trip to his homeland / islands of Hawaii. Thank you Lopaka!

The Shaka Bar is a nice out of the way little bar on Pensacola Beach to sit and have a few drinks while watching the boats come in and out of Sabine Bay and enjoying the evening talking with the friendly staff, especially a bartender called Tara. She is friendly and full of life. If you're at the bar during sunset hours you will be right where the sun sits.
