UFO's Mini-Golf, Ice Cream & Arcade in Pensacola is a hidden gem that offers an incredible blend of fun and hospitality. First and foremost, the stars of the show are undoubtedly Eric and Franco. These gentlemen are more than just employees; they are the heart and soul of the place. As expert ice cream scoopers, they serve up delicious treats with a smile, making every scoop feel special. But it's not just their scooping skills that stand out. Eric and Franco's ability to connect with customers, their sociable and kind demeanors, and tireless work ethic truly set them apart. They make everyone feel welcomed and valued, turning a simple visit into a memorable experience.
The arcade section of UFO's is exceptionally well-maintained. Cleanliness is evidently a top priority, as evidenced by the spotless gaming area and restrooms. This attention to detail in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment makes a huge difference, especially for families with kids.
An unexpected but delightful aspect of UFO's is the availability of alcohol. This adds a nice touch for adult visitors who might want to enjoy a cold beer or a refreshing cocktail, making the place not just kid-friendly but also a great hangout spot for adults.
The mini-golf course is a major attraction and rightly so. Whether it's raining or shining, the course remains incredibly fun and engaging. Its design challenges both beginners and seasoned players, ensuring that every game is filled with excitement. And for those hot Florida days, the thoughtful addition of fans around the course is a game-changer, providing much-needed relief from the heat.
In conclusion, UFO's Mini-Golf, Ice Cream & Arcade isn't just a place to play mini-golf or grab an ice cream; it's an experience. From the exemplary service provided by Eric and Franco to the pristine arcade and the fun-filled mini-golf course, it's clear that UFO's is committed to providing a top-notch entertainment experience for all ages. It's a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a great time in Pensacola. I feel honored spending my dollars here and feel it was...
Read moreWe always play mini-golf at least once while we are on vacation or a weekend trip, so we have played a ton of different courses. We were a little disappointed to find out that there aren't many options in Pensacola to play mini golf, but we were hopeful when we found this place. The course and both the interior and exterior of the building was decorated for Halloween with numerous 8-12 foot tall "figures," little green aliens, and other haunted house-type decor. The water also ran red to fit the Halloween theme. The prices were very affordable, at roughly $13 per person before tax. They supplied all the usual needed equipment: ball, club, score card, and pencil. You could pick the club that suited you best and your choice of ball color. In the daylight, the course looked fun and entertaining. However, once it got dark, seeing your dark-colored ball was nearly impossible, especially in the spots were there was little to no lighting. Multiple times, we had to use the flashlight on our phones to see both our balls and those of the people playing in front of us. Another issue we had with this course, was that there was nothing stopping the balls from escaping the courses and rolling out into the street, the water, the next door parking lot, etc. Two of our players lost their ball (one in the water and the other into the hotel parking lot next door). Neither of them could finish playing after their ball was lost. This course has the potential to be a great attraction with some improvements, such as better lighting after dark or only neon-colored balls available at nighttime and more enclosure around the courses to keep the balls from escaping. They also serve ice cream and sell...
Read moreThe standing water on the course decorations was full of garbage: old, torn plastic bags, wrappers, etc everywhere. The arcade and ice cream building, which make up 2/3 of the advertised "mini golf, ice cream, arcade" was closed on the busy Saturday evening that I visited on. Very disappointing since we already paid ahead of time as the website instructs customers to book a reservation but doesnt advertise that the building is closed. The water pumps were still down, not really a big deal, but customers still pay full price. IThe course itself was in decent shape, and the misters were working. If it was $2/person and no advertisement of ice cream and arcade, I'd give it 5 stars. For two adults, a 17 year old, and a 5 year old, we paid $57. On the website they charge $10 for all kids 11 and under, but after we got there, the sign on the little pay booth said 5 and under is free, so don't pay via website!
