I've eaten at many sandwich places in the Bay Area and Bianchini's is by far my favorite. Their sandwiches don't all use proprietary secret sauce like Ike's dirty sauce which, while heavenly on first consumption, eventually becomes tired and tends to make even very different sandwiches conform to a similar taste palette. Bianchini's sandwiches are no frills, good quality ingredients, and they have the tastiest bread with the best consistency I've found anywhere. The sandwiches taste fresh in a way that hard to qualify, and I never get tired of them. I must have ordered their number 1 a few dozen times and I still want more of it. I've only ordered a salad once, a chicken avocado salad with fruits and some kind of berry dressing, and that too was fantastic. Staff are friendly. I really can't recommend this...

Makes a very good salad, and they make it right in front of you exactly how you want it.

The price is a bit high, but if you think about what you're getting it's not too far off of the mark. The sandwiches are also good, but they don't shine quite as much as their salads do.

The service is slightly hit or miss, but generally not too bad, and the place is generally clean.

How busy it is, is really going to depend on when you go.
