Dada's Deli — Restaurant in Santa Rosa

So, I was getting my oil changed and a few things done to my car at one of the dealers and was told by my service guy about this place.

Its located in a small office park right across the street from G & C Auto Body. Its very easy to miss but I'm sure there are rules for signage and colors.

The inside is fairly big, it was very open as all tables where moved because of COVID, so it is strictly to go. The tables outside where not available as well.

Looking at the menu, it has a lot of items, hamburgers, sandwiches, and specials.

I looked it all over and saw that they had a meatball sandwich and I'm always drawn to them as that was my specialty in my shop. J Mo's Sandwich Shack in Portland, Oregon. (Check Facebook and IG, old pages are still up)

I asked the lady behind the counter if the meatballs where made in house and she didn't say anything but shook her head "no", first bad sign.

Now I know better than to order it but I had to anyway. Maybe the sauce will be good. Nope, it wasn't, and the meatballs were as expected. Not very good either.

The meatballs did taste like a frozen product and the sauce was bland, no flavor at all, but at least it was red.

The sauce would have benefited from a little added italian seasoning (available at Cash & Carry on Barham/Petaluma Hill Rd) and some crushed garlic. The sandwich itself could also be topped with a little fresh chopped basil for added color, and for the fresh smell and flavor.

Dada's has a lot of other options and I will get back there to try at least one other sandwich.

Dada's deli is absolutely amazing! Their customer service is so good! My father and I were getting our car fixed nearby and we walked up to dada's but they had just closed, the lady who was just about to walk out and leave for the day, offered to still make us a sandwich and assist us even when she was off the clock. She insisted on helping us and made us some really good sandwiches! I will go back there every time I am in the area! And I highly recommend you all do as well. They are a great local establishment with excellent customer service! I will never forget it, my experience there....

Dada's is a gem! My co-worker suggested this deli and let me say, Dada's does not disappoint. Not only are the staff friendly, but the food is delicious and plentiful! I have yet to purchase something I did not enjoy.

The chefs salad is my favorite item to get. Handfuls of cubed cheese and meats, delicious bean salad mix, egg and tomato. What they do is take the ends of the meats and cheese, cube them up and you get a mix of all on the salad. You could easily feed 2 people!
