I first discovered this place on a Thursday at 2:30am back in 2010, and this has been my favorite taco truck ever since. Even though it's on taco truck row (I just made that name up though it probably does exist), this one easily gets the most business. I pretty much always get an assortment of pollo tacos and carnitas tacos, and lately I've been getting al pastor as well (sin cebollas en todo!!!). There's always a bit of variation, which is to be expected as there are a number of cooks, but when it's done right, oh man the carnitas has the perfect amount of crunch. They have a bunch of different choices of meat, but lately I've been noticing their tacos are getting spicier. I'm a total spice wimp, so it's a good thing they have the most delicious horchata available on this side of the Mississippi to help tame some of the spice. While you're waiting for your food, make sure you get a tamale, those are ready to go as soon as you order. But a word of caution, that green salsa is SPICY. Sometimes the line here is very long, but you can call you order in (but when the line is super long, you may have to let the phone ring for a few minutes before someone picks up). I've heard complaints that they don't serve chips with their food. If you want chips get them from the restaurant whose parking lot they permanently reside (both places are owned by the same people.) They used to be cash only but now they have a credit card...
Read moreThe girls that typically take our orders are not friendly at all they just kind of want you to give him the order don't really smile or socialize with anybody but their own coworkers, which I understand they are always super busy but at the same time they should make an effort to smile a little more and try to make a conversation with who they're helping out instead of chit-chatting with their fellow coworkers about things unrelated to work. 🤣 The food however is always delicious and they are by far my favorite food truck on Sebastopol Road. It's rare when they mess up my order. It's sadly always super packed and the worst part is trying to find parking and when you're trying to place an order over the phone, the phone just rings on end sometimes and when it does get picked up they are rushing you through the order and are very...
Read moreOrdered over the phone and went to pick up only to get home and realize order was incorrect. Called back and let them know, they said I could come back and pick up the missing part of order and they told me to come back and just pay the difference. Got there they took my card and charged me for the full amount of the remaining food instead of the difference as promised over the phone. I asked about this while paying and the lady tried to convince me that the amount was correct when I was obviously overpaying. Just paid and left. I don’t mind paying for what I ordered just upset that they lied over the phone and made me drive back just to get lied to and charged $27 for food they they missed because “the new employee messed up the order.” Will not be returning due to this, trust has been lost with them unfortunately even though...
