Best thing about The Jelly Donut? It's open 24 hours 7 days a week. It's donuts are pretty darn tasty. They have all the usual varieties. There's some seating if you want to dine there instead of to go. The staff is quick to serve you. The coffee is decent. What more can one ask from a basic donut shop? Sometimes the shopping mall it's located in seems a bit skeezy with oddball people hanging out here and there. But it seems like nowhere in Santa Rosa escapes that kind of thing. What's an oddball anyway? They're just people. Granted, people without homes or with mental issues or drunks or tweekers or whatever the case may be. Ohhh man, when you need emergency donuts and croissants for worker inventory at 4:30am, THIS is the place to go! Everything was tasty, fresh, and delicious! The worker had several donuts out, but one of the things I wanted was also just coming out fresh, and he made sure to give us the freshest batch! I was saddened when the baker/counter worker made a big deal when I gave him only a 5% tip, which was only like, $6.00. Always tip your counter worker! He was unbelievably grateful and gave me such a beautiful smile at such an early hour! He helped my day start off amazingly and with such happy energy! Even our workers were thrilled at having fresh snacks for having to be at work several hours before their regular shift schedule! Thank...

Tonight I add this:The son, who's Mom has owned this shop since before he was born in 1988, told me to try a warm, glazed Devil's Food cake 🍩 tonight...he was absolutely right in saying it's a different experience eating it warm and fresh out of the oven!!! BEST DONUT I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE!!! Customer service was astounding!!! You just don't meet people in customer service who go out of their way to be helpful and friendly these days!!! Update 3/5/24 Not sure if ownership changed but no longer 24 hrs as far as I can tell and the service and donuts are not the same. I no longer go to this...
