Consuelo's Kitchen — Restaurant in Santa Venetia

My girlfriend and I noticed this place on yelp and decided to give it a try, we were not disappointed!

It was dark and slightly rainy so it was a little hard to find the food truck as it was behind another business and had tarps to keep the dining room dry. Dining area is very nice for a food truck and wish we could have seen it during the day

The food was very good though! Definitely think the quesabirrias were our favorite though and would go back for those. The torta and burrito were very good but were a little smaller than expected.

However the prices are pretty on Par with restaurants around marin county and seem reasonable for what you are getting.

I love a good taco truck, but this was the blandest food I've ever had. Just no flavor or expertise and ingredients that are clearly low quality. I went with a Central American friend and he said it didn't even taste authentic. He gave it a 3 out of 10.

The location makes no sense either. Nowhere to park, cramped. And the prices? Ridiculous. $11 for a plain cheese quesadilla?!? You want to charge more than Mi Pueblo but without the overhead or staff? And why the hell is there a burger on the menu? You think I'm going to come to eat a cheapo burger for $14?? I laughed when I had to rate "atmosphere". What atmosphere??

Had never tried Pupuseria and saw this food truck so I stopped. My wife had been telling me I needed to try it. The owner and husband were so friendly. Ordered three different items to try. Ased on their recommendations. PORK PUPUSERIA, BASSARIO TACO WITH CARNE ASADA AND Huaracha. My absolute favorite was the Papusaria. Fresh hot and tasted incredible. I enjoyed both other items but could have just eaten the Puperaria because it was so big. If you want to venture out this food truck and owner deserve that you give them a try.
