So I went yesterday for breakfast May 13th at 10:00 am, mind you I work in customer service as well. I’m a frequent customer. I love chick fil a, but yesterday when I pulled up to politely order my breakfast. The girl taking my order asked me multiple times what I wanted. I ordered a number 3, additional Original chicken biscuit, and an extra hash brown. Which I have no problem having to repeat myself, but after the fourth time repeating myself. She went silent and I asked three times if it was okay if I moved forward. With no response or my name being taken. I just decided to move forward, which normally I’m under the understanding that they always ask for our name before moving forward. After this, there was two cars in front of me and I waited a total of 15 minutes to get to the window from taking my order. I get to the window and the girl at the window asks me what I ordered. I tell her again as clearly as possible . Still with friendly attitude. She then ask for my payment. I receive my food after a couple minutes waiting. I decided to check the bag to doublecheck that I still got everything that I wanted, and I notice I was given two lunch chicken sandwiches, one fry and hash browns. Which was not what I ordered. So I rolled down my window and politely tell them that I was given the wrong sandwiches. Immediately, you can see it in her body language and facial reaction that she was very passive aggressive, rude . She looks at me, folds her hands together and tells me “ you ordered that” with attitude and I repeat back “ no I ordered the number three and additional chicken biscuit and additional hash brown” and she says “no you didn’t you asked for a sandwich you need to be specific” So I responded back to her. “I’m sorry I didn’t know I had to be specific on whether it’s the chicken biscuit or the chicken sandwich when it’s breakfast and you guys don’t start serving lunch till after 10:30. Again, at this point, I had lost some patients and had already repeated myself multiple occasions. I can’t believe how aggressive she was speaking to me when I had been kind the entire time and I eat here pretty often so I know what I’m ordering. She tells me “I’ll do it for you this time, but I won’t be doing it next time” and I said “I’m sorry, but I need it fixed”. And when I get home, I look to see, and she only fixed one of the meals. And didn’t replace one of the fries with the hash brown and still left one of the lunch sandwiches in the bag. I always come to this location and they’re always very friendly, but this one employee treated me from the jump like I didn’t know what I was talking about and rude. Her reason I don’t know why. I was respectful and nice from...
Read moreChicken sandwich sounded good for lunch and one place we wanted to try was Chick-Fil-a. There was a two-row queue of cars at the drive-thru moving pretty steady forward. They have crew members walking up & down the line of cars, taking orders, taking payments ( cash or card). A young lady took our order, we asked what the menu was as we don't see it anywhere, and she fumbled around inside her jacket & pulled out a plastic laminated menu, and handed it to my husband. Too much to read, so little time. We told her to order us a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, regular bun, mayo-lettuce-tomato - that's it, and she figured what it is in the menu that we wanted. She carried her cash in a waist fanny pack which opened all the way, exposing & almost falling out - her cash bank. Not a very safe way to handle cash especially standing outside in the open. She did a good job in managing to not lose any cash in the process, but it was obvious that she was having a difficult time. Her customer service delivery was poor, no smile, seemed upset, nor even a 'thank you " at end of the transaction. The chicken sandwich was OK, fresh, hot, a good size. This location would do well to ensure that their working staff outside is safe from harm while handling cash, and must be trained to properly deliver guest service.
Update: 2/23/2023
We ordered the same sandwiches we always get and today was quite a disappointment. The Spicy Chicken sandwich I got had a very thin bun, the chicken didn’t taste fresh (frozen, pre- battered?) and instead of lettuce or tomato, it had 4 pcs of coin- sliced dill pickles it . My husband's grilled chicken sandwich- exactly the same - 4 coin slices of pickles. I can understand cost - cutting decisions but this is not a wise one... we were very disappointed and will...
Read moreSo first let me start by saying I usually have a great experience at Chick-fil-A. Today was not one of those days. When you pull in it says two lanes for the drive through, standard practice at Chick-fil-a. We'll we pulled in normally making it even between both. Well we obviously chose WRONG!!! the line we were in did not move for over 20 minutes. The other side was moving quickly and efficientlyas normal lines there do. I looked to see if maybe it was just someone who couldn't make uo their mind or faulty equipment but to my dismay there was no one taking orders on this side. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt, I said to myself that maybe they were short staffed but no. There were 2 people taking orders on the other side. And they continued to only take orders on that side. Normally there would be switching but for some reason they completely disregarded the side and only tended one side. There were two complete cycles of cars before one person switched over. When we finally made it up to order, the person taking orders did not accept cash. Okay, but no one was there that could. Maybe fault maybe not. But we waited an additional 5 minutes after placing our order and still no one came to accept payment. So unfortunately today I did not get to experience my spicy chicken sandwich and nuggets. Probably will not return to this location ever and it will probably not be returning to a Chick-fil-A...
