Velio's Tacos Y Gorditas — Restaurant in Sapulpa

Ate here with the family during the Annual Sapulpa Christmas Chute. I am personally from out of town and stopped by for a visit with family who recommended this food truck whom live in Sapulpa. The family really enjoys having take out from this truck for their Mexican food.

It was recommended to try the taco plate and so that is what I got. Food seemed to be mediocre in my opinion. Not the best but not the worst. The meat was seasoned well but it still seemed of low quality. Prices were not outrageous soo you get what you pay for. Food was cooked fresh and made to order. Several options to choose from.

There was not a long wait, however this was later in the evening when there was not much left open. Soo I will applaud for later service hours. The person who took our orders was pleasant. There were tables to sit at in front of the food truck. Since it was night-time during the cold winter months we opted to wait in our vehicle and this did not infringe on our wait time. We still recieved our food in a timely manner and were waved at when it was our turn to pick-up food at the window. The parking lot seemed to be spacious enough and had a good entry to get in and out.

If I were in town and craved a street taco late at night, I would eat here again for the sake of convince. Nevertheless, I personally would much rather enjoy a sit down experience at a Mexican restaurant over this particular food truck.

Overall, convience is great, service is friendly and timely, atmosphere seems chill and safe, food is mediocre but it gets you fed and full while in Sapulpa, OK. Check it out...

My wife and I stopped by here after craving some tacos. We both ordered the Tacos Al Pastor which were great in their own right, however, after looking at the menu and seeing stew as an option my wife was curious to try it out. The gentleman at the front allowed us to try a bit of it to see if we liked it. This stew was awesome! He then let us know that this is what is in the Gorditas.
