I stood in this establishment for 40 minutes. I ordered a smoothie and a bowl. I received the smoothie and told the young man working that I had a bowl as well. He informed me that the guy that took my order would prepare my bowl. I waited as many others came in, placed an order, received it and left. Finally I asked about it again as he gives a woman her bowl. I was told that he was told to make this woman’s order and not mine. Perplexed, I just asked for a refund since my son had just been at the neighboring urgent care and was waiting in the car not feeling well. After fumbling with the cash register, I was then told that neither employee knew how to refund a customer. He asked the other employee, “ Hey, did she show you how to do a refund, because I don’t know how to?” To which he replied no. He calls the manager and was told to tell me to come back Monday for a refund. Seriously???? I then ask for my original receipt so I can prove that I never received what I’d ordered & he didn’t know how to print that either. This was not his fault that the sorry manager, Dana, left employees in the store that were not familiar with standard operating procedures. I ask him to call Her back and she nastily tells me that I need to come back on Monday. I expressed my displeasure at the ordeal and her attitude asking should I leave my number since I’m facilitating this process and she tells me to deal with it. Never the less I went back serval times but today I came in and the owner was there I ordered my smoothie I ordered the same thing I always order when I got ready to pay it is even more expensive than the first time so I asked why and the lady named out whats in my smoothie so she suggested that she take off what I did not order rather than re make the smoothie considering it's going into my body! And the price was not the problem the problem was they added something to my order that I never ordered! She was not apologetic about it she was very nonchalant and told me that what they Added which was a $.91 charge for energy didn't have a taste anyway! I'm not saying that I won't go back because it is the closest smoothie King on my way to work! But I will avoid this particular location if there is other options! Read moreI made an order online at around 6:00 for the Saraland location and walked in the building at around 6:10 to inquire about my order. The girl at the counter asked to see my receipt and I showed it to her. She said it has not come through yet and it says on the receipt that it won’t be ready until 6:30. I said, “so I have to wait until 6:30 until you start making my smoothie?” She said, “we have customers here to take care of.” Keep in mind that I AM A CUSTOMER AND HAVE ALREADY ORDERED AND PAID FOR MY ORDER AND AM STANDING IN THE BUILDING AT THE FRONT OF THE LINE! At this point I do not even want her make my smoothies anymore. I walk out and my husband walks in and tells her that we have an online order that has been paid for and she refuses to make our order even though we have already ordered and paid and are in the building!
