Brady's Neighborhood Bar — Restaurant in Sarasota

I'm here from Texas to help this fine community restore after the recent hurricanes... highly stressed as I work all large loss and I have to carry expensive items with me to do my job as if they're glued to me since I'm typically working 20hr days every day for 6 weeks straight.... ANYWA, that being said....

I'd like to start by saying the people working at this bar are GREAT people and I really really like each one.... and the guests on my 2 visits were really cool people.... the guests, I'd say 9 out of 10 are super cool, kind, down to earth, caring, etc....

I wanted to give a 1 star rating because of something that happened.... but with how much I really like the people that visit and work in this bar I thought it would be unfair to drop a rating because of one loser.

Someone stole my $400 headphones I use for work and left at my spot for 5 minutes.... I searched up and down while getting ready to leave. They're the bulky bose style ones so very hard to conceal... only one guest had bag enough clothes to hide it, and he was the only one who had left in the time frame I set them down.. there was another guy with a backpack which it was confirmed they did not take them, and all the purses on hooks and tables were to small to conceal them.

Anyway, I do really recommend this bar.... but it's sad that I was stolen from when I drove here from Dallas, away from my family for over a month, to help heal a community after a catastrophic event.

I hope the new owner of my headphones finds this review, I believe he's a regular and feel like I know which person it was. Shame on you guy, smh.

Best bar and people otherwise, I wouldn't given it 5 stars after debating giving out 2 star because of what happened.... I just liked everything and everyone here to much to bring a review down over...

i had a great time here with my friends karaoke was fun the taco truck was phenomenal and the guy working the truck was great. the only negative was the bar tender lady with the tattoos who was very rude to me and my friends when we wanted to order drinks and split the tab a certain way. nothing special just put the modelo on my tab and rest of the drinks my friends ordered on theirs but no she looked at us and made stupid comments like if she couldn’t make this happen. then when i paid my tab i tipped cash and told the male bartender what happened and how i’d prefer not to tip her or deal with her which he apologized for her behavior. then as im leaving she makes a comment about how i complaint to her co worker about her which if i’m a paying customer i think i have the right to state my opinion for the service i received. to which all i said to her was “learn to be nice” and left. now my friends are texting me saying i might be banned from this place cuz of her. this is not how u get people to come back this is how...

Went for the first time the first guy I had was amazing but this woman we had checked my friends ID and then 15 mins later my other friend showed up and she accused us of showing her the same ID. We all work at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and I was in between them all. I would never show them the same ID. One of them showed her ID even though she is not drinking. The man behind the bar is fantastic. I left a great tip asking if he can get all the tip but he said they split 50/50 which I understand but I didn’t want to leave him a bad tip. It’s karaoki night is why we all came in. Main thing is that she disrespected my friends after a long day at work and just wanted to relax and listen...
