Chipotle used to be so efficient! Huge lines would get worked through in like 10 minutes. Not here. I don’t order online through them anymore, because I think I actually never once got a correct order. One time they gave me just a bowl of rice because they were out of everything else. And also wouldn’t refund me? Plus I was out the delivery cost, since I had to drive there anyway. All they’d give me is a free drink after I ASKED for one.
But today, which I get is a holiday (7/4/22), was abysmal. It wasn’t even busy. Maybe 3 people in line. The first girl is so slow, and then the second one looks completely lost. I have to point to her to show her where the salsas and sour cream are. She had to have someone else wrap the burrito for her because she couldn’t do it. If she’s new, have her shadow someone. She clearly wasn’t ready.
And then I get to the register and my god. There might as well have been no one there. She’s bored and disinterested. I have 2 coupons, and want to know if I can use both. She says she doesn’t know. She doesn’t know how the register works. Great. I scan the coupon, and she just says “you don’t have any rewards.”
Yes I do. I have them up on the app. Right here. And she doesn’t try to resolve anything. Just sort of stares at me until she realizes I’m not just giving up and wanders around for 5 minutes I guess looking for a manager who also (rightfully) seemed annoyed with her for not having two brain cells to rub together. The manager seemed like the only one who knew what they were doing. He actually checked me out professionally and fast, like I used to expect from Chipotle. Used both my coupons just fine.

Read moreI placed an order on door dash. I got an email confirming my order for two burritos. When door Dash got here and they were much later than they told me on the app. Anyway, I don’t care about them being late, what I did care about is getting the order right. I wanted to chicken burritos they sent me two of these funky looking salads with sour cream and guacamole all over it. I can’t eat either one of them so I decide to call them up so they can pick this up and bring me my correct order. Well when I got door dash on the phone they only said after five phone calls because I kept getting hung up on they said they can only give me a full refund that was their solution, I should sit here and starve. I decided to call the store directly because I wanted to speak to a manager lo and behold, I was hung up on twice. Well after an hour I gave up because they have useless management because I don’t blame the workers this is all management I was in retail 20yrs and fast food for five years and I would never run a business that way. I will never ever use door dash or chipotle in Sarasota ever again when I use them in New York I never have a problem with them, just here in Sarasota they did the same thing last year but I figured hey you know what give him another chance. Big mistake I will never make that mistake again!! Read moreThis is the first time I have ever written a review on Google. Sad that I felt the need to even do so. I have been eating Chipotle for about 15 years now. Always been one of my top, if not top place to go eat. Love it. BUT this location is the ABSOLUTE worst I have ever experienced. I have gone their 9 times in a row now, yesterday being the 9th time, and they have been sold out of chips 9 straight times. And i'm getting there no later than 7pm. I can understand between 9-10pm maybe running out. But 9 times in a row, 7pm or earlier, NO CHIPS. Half the time the chips and queso is what sparks my interest to go to chipotle that day in the first place. So to go 9 times in a row with no chips is just crazy. And most of those times too, no corn salsa, no fajita veggies left. I just don't understand how this can happen and not be fixed when it's been going on for so long?!?!? Also, Managers are terrible, staff doesn't seem to care.
To top it off, last night I ordered delivery. Used my app reward for a free chips and queso. Also added an extra large chips and queso. Without any heads up, they delivered my food with NO CHIPS, lol. And still delivered the two quesos. What am I going to do with two sides of queso with no chips? I got charged full price for it all and a WASTED my free reward. No call or message at the time of ordering to say we have no chips. Wow.
From now on I will be driving further just to go to the Fruitville location, they have it way more together over there....
