Crabbers — Restaurant in Sarasota

Had a reservation for 6 and we were seated right away. Everyone got their food except mine, which came out wrong. I brought it to the front and a few servers gathered to figure it out. They told me to sit down and said they would remake it. I waited nearly 20 minutes with no updates while the rest of my family was almost done eating. Eventually someone asked if I had received my food, then came back asking me to repeat my order. At that point we decided to leave.

What really disappointed me was not the mistake itself, but the complete lack of communication. No apology, no reassurance, no one trying to make it right. Even as we walked out, not a single server or the owner said a word.

The beer was good and the fried oysters were decent, but everything else about the experience fell flat. As a restaurant owner myself I understand mistakes happen, but it is how you handle them that matters. Guests choose your place out of many others, and ignoring them when things go wrong is not the way to keep them...

We stopped into Crabbers for lunch and really enjoyed our combo snow crab boil! We were seated right away. The space isn’t huge, but there were plenty of open tables. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

I was pleasantly surprised by the “buy one combo, get one half off” deal—it was a great value. It also allowed us to choose our own spice levels for the snow crab, shrimp, and sausage, which was a nice touch.

The only downside was that one of our plates came out about five minutes before the other, which led to some awkward waiting. It would’ve been better if they had brought both at the same time.

That aside, it was a great experience overall. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, and I’d definitely recommend checking out Crabbers if you’re in the mood for a tasty...

So we have been craving and looking for an all you can eat crab legs place for quite a while. So we decided to give Crabbers a go. We celebrated our anniversary dinner here. And we were skeptical. And what an awesome and delightful surprise!!!! The food is so fresh and tasty!! The all you can eat and drink special is absolutely amazing and so very reasonable, especially since crab legs are more scarce lately. The servers were on top of everything. The flavors are delicious and robust!! This is an absolute must go to place. It certainly will be our go to for fresh seafood for the foreseeable future for us. Great job and when and wherever and whoever asks, I will be adamant about recommending going to this place. Small business support support and locally owned!!! Beautiful job...
