My son & I walked over after a movie on Sunday evening. Skipped outdoor seating as it was after dark. Skipped the first floor because it was EXTREMELY LOUD! Second floor was somewhat better because there were less people, only 7 plus 2 staff. (Until the drunk Karen customer opened her mouth. That brought the decibel level way up.) Spent about 15 minutes looking over the menu & talking before someone, not the bartender, stopped by to assist. He took our drink & food order - and later brought our check when we were ready to leave - even though he was only there occasionally. I got the chicken quesadilla with jalapeños added. Well prepared & served hot. The salsa it comes with is not spicy at all. My son order 10 boneless wings with honey bourbon sauce. Apparently, that is just a name as there was no indication either of those things were in it. More of a super-sweet but weakly flavored BBQ sauce. Better without it. He only ate 2 but was so hungry he actually ate the celery! A teenager willingly eating vegetables?!? Wow. I brought the remainder home & removed the weird sauce & had them for lunch the next day with basic BBQ sauce. Much better. Normally, I avoid sports bars. They're too loud, the patrons often over-imbibe & get very vocal & try to outperform the TV speakers, the food is usually sub-par. The beer list is pedestrian/ mainstream. Here, the food was .... decent. And they actually had a beer I'd never seen before, a Yuengling Hersey porter, VERY unexpected. The bartender was useless, the atmosphere was fine for what it is but it was still way too loud. I did like the Big 10 bias & the U of Michigan gear (Go Blue!) but I can't eat that. And finally, and this is sneaky & underhanded, there was a 'CREDIT CARD FEE' added to the bill. The total was about $25, the fee was $1.07, nearly as much as the tax. Watch your bills, people. Lost another star...

Great idea, awesome place, nice bartenders, terrible food….

I really like the idea of this place and think it’s a great add to Sarasota, but I will say after coming here on (4) separate occasions this is the worst food I’ve had in town.

1st time: This was the grand opening, very impressed by the rooftop and the speedy bar service.

2nd time: Came in to watch some college basketball, ordered a pizza. As Dan Portnoy from Bar Stool Sports would say, “This was a 2.2 Pizza”. Tasted like Digiorno.

3rd time: Came in to watch more sports and thought to myself, how can someone screw up a quesadilla… well the unexpected happened and bam, came out filled to the gills with everything I asked to have taken off. No harm no foul, lets order another one. Comes out wrong again. Gave up…. Bartender was super cool, but I just can’t believe they screwed it up a 2nd time.

4th time: Had a few of my clients in town and decided to grab a quick beer between meetings and have a simple appetizer, one of the clients ordered a philly, took one bite and wouldn’t even finish it. (This guys from PA, I’ve witnessed him eat greasy airport phillys like an animal with no issues, he said this was the worst he has ever seen…... I ordered Tacos… tasted like communion at church. Final straw and wasn’t happy.

I just really hope you guys get a grip on this before this becomes the next empty restaurant. The idea is awesome, the owner seems very up and at it with social media but please fix the food and whatever communication issues are going on in the kitchen. I work across the street and would love to come in a few times a week and will delete my review once I try the food again and it...

Me and 2 others went here after work and were racially profiled by the women behind the bar. The first lady who took our drink order of 1 cranberry vodka, 1 seltzer peach, and 1 water. She looks at our Tennessee license and held it to the blacklight showing the seal and hologram. And said thanks and handed them back. She walks away. Then a different girl comes to us and ask how can she help us. We said the other lady already took our order. She said that lady has a table now. And I look over and she's still at the bar. This 2nd lady has the most disgusting look on her face. Then asked rudely for us to order again. Confused we began with our order. Meanwhile one of us still hasn't gotten the water that was ordered. They refused to even serve us that. The 2nd lady asked for our license again. Started bending them and was taking a long time to give them back to where the whole attitude was so uninviting and rude we just knew it was racially motivated. It's 2024. She said my license was too bendy and didn't seem real. I pulled out the paper copy the state issues before you get the hard copy in the mail. Which matched the license I provided. And she didn't expect me to have it and she was stuck on what to say next so she let us just leave due to the uncomfortable atmosphere she created by first lying about why she came over to us in the first place. To saying have a good night as we were walking out. I hope y'all get help for the hate in y'all's hearts. Seriously. Pathetic. It's not about the IDs..you wouldn't serve us anything, not even water. And gave no options for further verification. I offered my own and she wouldn't...
