I need to explain this one. I've always been impressed with the food when I go by myself. I would rate those experiences as a 5 star experience (except one thing I'll explain later). This experience was a whole different story because it was me and my five kids ranging from 3 to 12. The amount of food I ordered was quite a bit now so it took a little longer to make so I'm assuming something day there for a bit waiting for the rest. It still tasted good but some things were not quite hot anymore. Now to explain the other thing. Apparently when I first when to a Popeyes at Fort Hood in Texas, they didn't play the music. When I went through the drive-thru at the one in Lehi by Thanksgiving Point, I didn't hear the music. Now, I notice the music. I should say don't because it's only one song... that repeats... forever! It's not an annoying song at first. Not even the second or third time in a row. After that it becomes a joke. So if your in for a quick bite, you may be good to go. If you plan on staying there longer than 10 minutes, you might get annoyed. Again, the song is great, just add more! Lol. But for real though, it's a great place with great food! Glad I gave it a try again because after eating it at Fort Hood, I told myself I'd never...
Read moreHorrible location. Horrible employees with horrible manners. Waited forever for a meal that wasn’t right. Thank God we caught that they didn’t include the one Diet Coke that was ordered out of three drinks. All three were regular. Yes, it does matter when someone has a medical condition that prevents them from drinking the equivalency of liquid sugar. Giving a diabetic a regular soda can cause a trip to the hospital or worse. After waiting an excessive amount of time for the meal we trusted that they would’ve gotten it right. Found out after getting home that they didn’t. It may take a little time to drive to the next location, but we’ll make the trip next time. The people who were there at 930pm have no idea what they’re doing, and act like it’s a major problem to assist customers. Keep in mind that we were polite, even as we were handing the soda back to have them fix it. We were nice the whole time, so the worst thing that we did was politely request that they fix the soda. Now that we’re home, leaving to get them to fix the food isn’t an option. Waste of money, waste of time....
Read moreMy first and last time at Popeyes because of the experience. I tried the drive thru, and waited for 5 minutes for someone to take my order. I finally went inside and ordered. It was me and 8 others waiting around for our order for at least 20 minutes. The kitchen was a hot mess. So uncoordinated and slow!
It wasn’t that the chicken wasn’t prepared and ready. There was a ton cooked and ready to be served up. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason and it wasn’t busy enough for them to even have that as an excuse. From the girl in the back of the kitchen playing on her phone, to 5 or 6 employees messing up to go vs eat in orders.
Had me begging the question how many Popeyes employees does it take to fulfill an order consisting of a chicken sandwich and popcorn chicken???
When I finally got my food, the popcorn chicken was fresh, but the chicken sandwich was cold and so were the fries.
Even IF they had the better chicken sandwich (which they don’t) Chic-fil-a tastes better simply through their 5...
