Let me start by saying the food was delicious. 10/10 recommend their burgers and fries!
Just beware if you get a combo - what they charge you is not what is posted on the menu in person or online. We were charged for a large combo (understandably that price is higher than what is posted - as what is posted is for the regular combo) BUT we were charged in addition to the combo for the large fries - that are part of the combo. Shouldn't the large fry price be included in the large combo price? Additionally if you size up to a medium combo, you're only getting a medium drink - as you still only get regular size fries. All around felt like a lot of false advertising/incorrect charges. When I asked why the prices were different all the employees could tell me is "that's just how it is, we don't know, maybe call the manager." (What I was charged is also higher than what is posted on the website for a medium or large combo.) When I did call the manager, I was told that it's the employee's job to upsell food and they did the right thing. I didn't ask for a refund, just wanted to understand why the pricing was so different than what was posted. All in all, the conversation with the manager was difficult as I never could get a full sentence out without being cut off. I get that you're busy, but since I had called earlier and you were returning my call, maybe you could pick a time when you have a minute to listen and not interrupt me the whole time. Maybe this is petty because in the end it's only a few dollars difference, but the principle of the thing is what is aggravating. Read moreCame in and ordered a burger with two modifications to make it vegetarian (Impossible patty and no bacon). I asked if it was okay first, and the cashier assured me it was, and promptly rang me up without issue. When the burger came out though, it had bacon. I went up to them to have it fixed. The first person to approach me seemed receptive to fixing the issue and understanding. Then some power-tripping dude named Jose interrupted her to intervene. I re-explained the situation, and then he outright refuses to fix the error. Said that he already made the burger, and best he could do is make me pay for another one. Then my boyfriend got involved, and I guess he just dug in his heels. And apparently the cashier William lied and said we didn't make that request at the register when Jose asked about it, so that's nice.
I've had a lot of orders messed up in my time. Usually people fix it pretty quickly and without issue. This is the first time ever that I've been refused and made it out like it was my fault. Jose was exceedingly rude for no freaking reason. And apparently they don't have a store number or anything like that if you do run into issues... So good luck getting anything fixed here, I guess?
Edit to add: debated saying anything about this, but it's bugging me. The first girl to try to help me (didn't get her name) seemed like she might have had some kind of intellectual disability. Jose kept talking over her, interrupting her, and overriding her every move. Read moreWent tonight and had to wait 32 minutes at the drive thru. Restaurant was super slow for a Friday night, maybe three tables were being used. You could tell it was slow since you can see inside while you're at the drive thru line and the poor busser boy just kept walking around in circles looking for something to do. It took 11 minutes to be able to place my order even though I was only two cars behind the car that was ordering when I got there. Waited another 30 minutes before I was able to pay and get my food. As I was waiting to pay you could see the employees through the window and the lady working the fryer was eating whatever fried food was coming out as she was frying( or maybe it was my fried mushrooms since I ended up with less than half of a bag and they were NOT boiling hot like they usually are.) I asked the employee why it was taking so long and she unapologetically replied that they were just too busy and hurried and gave me a bag. I had to ask for my receipt as she was closing the window. With all of the new places coming and trying to buy your business here in Saratoga I will most likely take my business elsewhere. Yes, I know their food is slow, but having to wait 30 plus minutes and then get food that was for sure colder than it should and much less that the amount you paid for is so not cool.
