My wife and I were very excited when we learned of a new Iceberg close to us! We have been going to the Pleasant Grove location since it opened and loved it. However, be warned. This location is nowhere near the caliber I have come to expect from Iceberg. The prices are high yes, but I had no issue paying for the quality I got at the PG location. Here though, it fell woefully short of the $43.46 I paid. This was for 2 fish box meals, one with fries and one with onion rings. We also got 2 shakes, a kid size single flavor and a regular with cookie dough and Heath. We didn’t even get any drinks. It took 26 minutes from when we entered the drive thru line til we got our food. There were 3 people in front of us. When we got our food, we were very disappointed. The fries were hot, but soggy. The onion rings were bland and drenched in fry oil. The fish were delicious as always, but neither of us received the advertised tartar sauce with them which made them a little bland. I got a single fry sauce for my fries, filled 1/4 of the way as pictured. One of my fish fillets had been put in the box straight from the fryer, not an issue except it’s a styrofoam box which promptly melted and stuck to that piece of fish. It was discarded. The shakes were good as usual, though the Heath I requested was found all in one clump in the center since it wasn’t blended in. All in all, I will make the drive to PG from now on. Disappointed, but for those first trying it out don’t judge the brand by the one store that isn’t up to scratch. I promise the food really is amazing, as long as you...
Read moreIt’s very rare I give a rating so low (or provide a rating at all), but I just returned from picking up two milkshakes for the Mrs. and I, and I thought I should warn others. First and foremost, our two milkshakes cost $18.45. Let that sink in…$18.45! Now, before you go off saying we added every mix-in imaginable to rack up the charge, I’ll just tell you what we got: 1 mini shake with Oreo, peanut butter and cake batter ($9) and one regular shake with Oreo and raspberry ($9). Each mix-in is $1 extra. I mean, one spoonful/squirt of peanut butter is $1? Now, okay the price is VERY steep, but all would have been well had either of these shakes been stellar. Sadly, both of our shakes were disappointing. Both maybe had 1 Oreo shared between the two of them. The raspberry flavor in mine had to be artificial. There’s no way that’s real raspberry. My wife ate hardly any of hers due to similar sentiments. Overall, just an extremely poor experience. With so many other options within a 5-10 minute drive, our business will be taken elsewhere (Culver’s, Handel’s, Chuck-fil-A, etc.) You guys really need to make some changes or you won’t be around too long, and that’d honestly be a shame. I’m not even a fan of JCW’s (also overly pricey for mediocre shakes), but I’d make the long drive over the 2 minute...
Read moreEdit to add: I got a response from the owner who was very kind and helpful and hopefully one day they are able to get their stuff together. I’ll be sure to be on the lookout for recent reviews to see other people’s experiences on whether or not I will return.
It was not busy, so they cannot use that as an excuse for anything. The best thing about this place is the old school vibe but other than that the food is not good, the ice cream is no better than arctic circle, the chicken tenders were actually worse than freezer Dino nuggets. We ordered fried pickles and they didn’t realize they were out until after we paid for them- then they couldn’t figure out how to refund them so they just gave us a 5 dollar bill even tho they are 4.99 before tax so I just had to eat the tax because they couldn’t figure it out?🤣 that’s not okay in my book. It’s way over priced for what you get and is not any good especially for the prices they’re trying to charge and the tax fraud. Lmao. Never again ALSO, we were charged $.20 extra per ice cream cones “for a cup” when I didn’t even ask for a cup. The girl then tried to give it to us in a cone and I said uh no, I’ll take it in a cup since you already charged me for it. The girl at the front was kind and I don’t blame her for the bad food or...
