What an insult! We were guests at this hotel. $22 for lettuce, croutons, parmesan and dressing , before adding a protein. Are you effing kidding me?! It was a child’s portion, and not as good as a Caesar we could make at home. If we added a protein, it would’ve been $30!
The “pizzetas” were $15 for a 5” pizza. A kid wouldn’t be full with that. We saw that joke of a pizza at adjoining tables. Two tables sent it back.
We ordered the “grilled caprese sandwiches,” x2, and the “selection of farm vegetables” for $20 and $21 respectively. For almost $70, what we got was:
Two empty sandwiches. Bread was toasted/burnt, one slice of cheese and tomato in each. Some carrots, slices of cucumber, slices of radishes, maybe 5 leaves of endive, with a side of hummus. The vegetables were fresh, and the hummus was great. Still very overpriced! Hummus is cheap to make!
The bartenders at Bar Bibi (poolside bar) seemed to be very unhappy. They were beyond rude, not attentive, or accommodating. We were exhausted due to the storm (Helene). We asked for our food to go as we just needed something to eat, and take a nap. She was totally frustrated with the request, and informed us the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. She then brought out the hummus and veg in dishes, pushed it towards us, and said “the kitchen can’t make this to go”, and walked away. So we waited … and waited … and waited.
Not either of the bartenders asked if we wanted something to drink. Meanwhile the kitchen is taking orders pushing out food well past the 10 minute cutoff. Hours online say Mon-Thur 11am-6PM and Friday-Sun 11AM - 8PM. Mind you, the pool area was not busy. Our food came out in to-go packaging. She asked if we were done with the hummus/veg plate, to which we responded “no”, we will package it up to go in these to-go containers. She walked away w/o a word, and a whole lot of attitude. Then just stood at the bar talking to the other two guests for about 10 minutes, before we could even get her attention to bring us the check. Mind you they were one seat away from us.
We’ve traveled the world, and stayed at countless 5 star resorts, hotels, and boats. Been members and guests of several private clubs. Yes, you pay a premium at such places, but it’s worth it. Not so at this place. The rooms were nice. Not Frette linens as were described in the room description. The junior suite is described as having a king bed, and what got was a queen.
We definitely enjoyed the ambiance and decor. It’s like the Beverly Hills Hotel of the South. Having the free water station with filtered sparkling and still was awesome!! The front desk was very kind, and helpful! Matt the Guest Service manager was awesome!! Bartenders in the Green Room were super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Being in the hotel was like taking a step back in time. Only gripes were the disorganized check-in process (lack of communication between valet, front desk and bell staff), staff at Bar Bibi, and the truly mediocre and overpriced food at same. We still want to try St, Bibiana, their signature restaurant, but the food at...
Read moreBar Bibi, located within the Bibiana hotel, presents an excellent choice for those seeking a light snack during the day. It's important to note that the portions are quite petite, with dishes like a delightful 5-inch pizza that showcases the culinary creativity of the kitchen. Despite the smaller sizes, the flavors delivered are nothing short of exceptional, allowing guests to sample a variety of items without feeling overly full.
While the prices might be on the higher side, this is to be expected given the upscale nature of the hotel and its surroundings. If you’re dining at Bar Bibi, be prepared for a bit of splurging, though many might find the worth in the quality of food and the overall experience.
Moreover, the staff deserves special recognition for their outstanding service. Their attentiveness and friendliness truly elevate the dining experience, making you feel welcomed and valued throughout your visit. A heartfelt thank you to the team for their incredible...

You see 5 star reviews from others and you read them, it's because of the vibe and drinks. Its definitely 5 stars. The music, the colors, the atmosphere, the elegance, the drinks, and the service. Top notch.
But, if you look at the 1 to 2 star reviews, it's because of the food. The prices are outrageous and the portions are tiny like other people have said.
My wife and I ordered 2 pizzas that were $17 each and they were tiny. Made 5 inches in diameter - no exaggeration.
The kids pizza was the same size of the adult and comes with a little Gelato that comes for free with the kids meal. That was $15.
The only meal that I feel is worth the value is the $15 kids chicken tender meal with fries and free Gelato. My son loved it and was a huge portion.
Overall, it's a great place to relax at the hotel. If they just increased the portion size a little this place would be 5...
