I've been coming to this location since they've been open and everything usually goes pretty well. There's been a time or two where they have forgotten a couple items, but they usually take care of it. Well apparently one of the drive-thru lines is now used only for mobile orders. The signs that are supposed to be telling you this as you pull in are very small. One of the workers was standing out in front by the line and there was a lot of cars so I was paying more attention to make sure I didn't hit anybody then to see that I got into the wrong line as I didn't have a mobile order. I get up to the screen part where the menu usually is and all I see is QR codes. That's when the guy tells me that I'm in the wrong line but that I could try to order while I'm sitting in line so that I don't have to pull back around and sit through the line twice. I quickly put my mobile order in and just check out as a guest as I was trying to get it done quickly. I pull up to the front after completing it and the manager passing out the food asked me for my name. I tell him that I just placed my order because I got in the wrong line and he tells me I still have to pull around because I have to scan the QR code to check in. Me being frustrated, I pull around and go through the drive-thru line again even though my order was already sent through. I try scanning the QR code and it doesn't work. So I get all the way to the front again and talk to the same manager and let him know that my order was sent but the QR code isn't letting me check in. I give him my name and he looks at my screenshot and says 'your order says Abercorn location'. I must have clicked the wrong location as I was trying to hurry and fix the situation from getting in the wrong line originally. I know that I messed up but my issue is, after telling the manager that I must have clicked the wrong location, he did nothing to try and help me. It just didn't seem very Chick-fil-A like. You'd think he would have maybe asked me what my order was and said they could go ahead and make it there. Or even when the first worker saw that I got in the wrong line as this is a NEW thing, He could have said 'well, this is the mobile order line but let me go ahead and just take your order for you because now you're stuck.' That would have been nice too. At least I would have known for the next time about the different lines. But he could have just taken my order right then. I don't know. I just don't feel like the situation was handled very well and now I'm driving all the way across town to the other Chick-fil-A that I accidentally placed my order with. When all I wanted to do was place my order and get my food at the Derenne location. Now I'm sitting here messing with the online mobile order, playing musical cars, and now gotta drive 15 mins away to go...
Read moreWhere do i start? It just seem like everything that you would love at chic fila has changed drastically. My first visit I ordered a meal for my daughter and I with my order i asked for a warm cookie. When ordering she never stated i couldn’t get them warm. When i noticed it was cold i went back through the drive thru and the manager at the time switched the cookie out and said this was warmest they had. Cookie was still hard as a rock. My second visit ordering for me n my daughter again. I order A salad asked for extra salad dressing. Once again they did not state that i couldn’t get extra. I also ordered 2 extra chicken tenders. Get to the window go through my bag and didn’t see the extra dressing. The girl took my bag said its in there. Went through it and said your only allowed 2 and cant pay for extra. Well how n the hell am I suppose to eat my salad if thats not enough dressing for me. I would’ve just ordered something else. I proceeded to move out of the line and realized my extra tenders were not in the bag. Had to go through the long line again. For the same girl to go through another bag and then went and got my tenders. Atp this place was beyond me with the attitudes!!!! For once i felt like i would’ve got better service from McDonald’s on Montgomery street. My most recent visit. I ordered for myself nugget meal side of macaroni. Didn’t get the cookie they said they dont serve warm at all. As im heading out the line im looking for my fork. Not in there. I started to eat the fries. When i tell you i never in my life received cold fries from any chic fila i was VERY disappointed! I turned around in that heavy traffic and went in the inside to ask for hot fries and a fork. Well she gave me another box of cold fries that was already sitting up in the warmer. Ive had it!!! If its not the poor attitude from the employees. To not being able to receive what I actually pay for, and just not being satisfied overall. Im done with this location! Its not pleasure to come here. Not to mention no one says it anymore! Someone needs to rethink staffing hospitality and condiment standards. Ill quit giving them the benefit of the doubt and bypass them...
Read moreI dig this chick fila. It looks like it had a hard time getting moving but when I went it was US who were not n the swing of things and new to an area. Being close to hospitals has to be difficult and demanding not to mention dealing with friends and fam on edge from only God knows what. I had sent someone to the wrong chic fila bc I guess their location was just enough off from mine it tagged the actual closest to them vs this one aka where I placed the order. Anyway, after going to the incorrect food pick up location and having to by Wendy’s instead I went to this location to explain the mix up and cancel the order. No one answered the phone so that’s kind of a problem (-⭐️). However other than that they were very kind and refunded me the order for the 2 dead milkshakes that were sitting up on the carry out area with my name on them. In chatting with the manager about how we became confused and mentioning the hospital etc he ask me if he could pray for me and my son. I could tell some of the other women who heard what our story said to themselves a silent prayer right then but kept it moving politely. I really appreciate the understanding and the prayers and the refund without argument on what was clearly a mix up on our behalf amongst the confusion of trying to get the child a fry. Thanks for being deeply rooted in God within business and thanks for stopping to taking the time to hear a story while the world carries on its pace around what could be just a strangers worried about getting a baby a potential last French fry (ps it wasnt thank heavens). Still you never know how someone else is doing till pivotal moments where you rly tune into others. They showed it doesn’t hurt to be kind to everyone and appreciate their...
