Just went through drive through.. my hushpuppies were like brickes I asked for a chicken club and got a chicken sandwich with lettuce . I made it clear I wanted the grilled club with no lettuce , that would leave tomato bacon and mayo I have nothing but blah.. we ordered a total of 4 trays.. get to the window asked how many do u have she said 4 and gives us 4 drinks then the manager comes and says how many trays are you supposed to have (after already asking and the cashier verified) we said 4 she said she must've forgotten the 4th we asked for the reciept only 3 trays and she proceeded to charge us 8 bucks and change and I asked how did we get 4 drinks if she forgot a tray.. so needless to say training is overdue and needed.. I tried to call but I get corporate.. and of course they are closed. This is the 1st time I've had this problem but usually I go to the POOLER location they are always TOP NOTCH..

My cashier was Shanique. I just want to say the staff here is wonderful. Let’s be honest, it’s a food service job and these folks were working on the 4th of July, LATE. I was in line for 30 minutes and it was WELL worth the wait. The food was hot and fresh. I burned my mouth on my fries, and everything was exactly as I had requested. I feel this deserves special recognition as it would have been easy to make an error with all the cars they had in the line- it was all the way to the road. I was prepared to accept a missing or wrong item, but I didn’t even have to. Not to mention there were no attitudes either. SERIOUSLY. Thank you, especially Shanique. She served me with a smile no matter how busy or late it was- and also the managers who made sure everything went smoothly.

We got to Cookout at 1:30am, they close at 3am and granted, we knew what we were getting into when we saw the line of 12-15 cars, because they were probably the only place open. It took an hour of sitting in line, which mightve been the longest I've ever waited on fast food. Plenty of time to mull over all the options on the menu and salivate in anticipation. They take each car's full order at the pickup window individually, which I actually don't mind because I respect the late night staff. I was a bit underwhelmed in the end-- the milkshake was good, the food and portions were just average, and it was more like the quality of a rushed plate at the park gazebo than whatever magic I was dreaming of. In short, maybe worth a 10-15 min wait, but not more.

Really great burger! Since moving to Savannah I have found a immense love of Culver's and have refused to eat any other Burger until the other night trying to eat a little closer to home ended up at B and D's which is one we have seen in a couple different spots around town. We were extremely disappointed with b&d's food but the wait staff was great. The prices were insane for the food quality. Culver's was going to be the only Burger I'd probably eat in town ever again. Until the other day when as passing my cookout Burger on my way home knowing there were no more chances for food I pulled in and to my extreme joy found a comparable Burger if not better in some ways to Culver's. Also I'm probably going to develop an unhealthy addiction to the cheerwine float. The meat was perfectly cooked juicy and with the grilled flavoring of an outdoor cookout. The veggies were fresh but a bit heavy on onion and the tomato slice was almost an inch thick. This may be the norm at cookout Burger but since this was my first experience I'm not sure if that's always how it's done. So the veggies were overshadowing the burger by a lot but it was no problem to knock a few off and enjoy it to my taste which I will definitely be ordering more specifically on my next visit I just hate...

This restaurant has at least 2 thiefs and a manager that covers for them. One of 2 of a group of 3 girls stole my wife's IPhone. Without a doubt. Only ones that even had access in the 4 to 5 minutes. The manager tried to cover for them. We're not from the state but was told we were in the good part of Savanah. Hate to see the bad part. One of the possible and most obvious is the girl with the red weave. You know who you are. Gave the food a 2 star because we were too disgusted from what they did to even eat. Took 13 minutes to even be recognized by the manager that told us she didn't have any employees "on the clock" that we're in the bathroom. But the thief came back 15 minutes later and went to work. We didn't care that you were talking on the phone that "you paid for" we were talking about the one that you stole. If you go here don't leave anything unattended because they will steal it. Sad I know. Grandma and grandpa trying to have a nice lunch with our grandkid. I don't know how you sleep at night. I hope you find peace in your life. Respect the police. That officer didn't deserve the disrespect you gave her just because you were over reacting because either you took it or the girl that didn't come back did. We know, they...

Ok, so I don’t normally do this, but goodness gracious!!! I have lived in Savannah for 5 or 6 years and have never been to the Cookout. I’ve wanted to try it, but just haven’t. Well, tonight, I did. Not only was the girl at the window RUDE, she couldn’t even give me the correct change. My total was $9.73, and I gave her a $20. She held up the $20, and I thought she was asking for change, so I told her, if it were easier, I had .73, and she looked at me like I had 4 heads and said “what”? I gave her the .73, She then gave me a $10, and when I asked for the REST of my change, agin she looked at me like I had 4 heads. She then asked for the $10 back and gave me a $1.00. At this point, I was getting annoyed, so I asked her, “ I gave you $20.73, and my total was $9.73, why are you just giving me $1.00?? For the THIRD time, she looked like I had 4 heads, called the manager over and told him, “her total was $9.73 and she gave me $20.73, and she says I owe her more than $1.00”. He finally caught on to what she was saying and told her she owed me $11.00. Doesn’t the cash register tell you HOW MUCH CHANGE to give back??? I won’t be going back to the CookOut...
