Nom Nom Poke Shop — Restaurant in Savannah

I wasn’t pleased with the poke bowls, actually upon entering the store, I noticed that there was no ingredient bar where you can see the ingredients and choose which you’d like on your bowl. The smell inside of the store was strange and kind of made it hard to stay. And there was some rice stuck to the fork given to me.

But the poke tastes stripped of the essences that make authentic poke bowls so great. The custom ingredient menu seemed full, but the choices of ingredients featured were not typical of good ingredients, like corn for example. For the prices, I would not come back here again nor suggest it to anyone else looking for poke.

Finally, the two workers in the store began gossiping about people and it wasn’t a really great vibe. I don’t need to hear the judgements you have about other people while I am eating what you just prepared and served to me… it was a little disappointing… As for the music playing, it was kind of strange. I got the Yum Yum Bowl it was very delicious & I loved every minute of it. I also ordered the guacamole & pineapple salsa and the guacamole lacked seasoning. I ordered an extra side of eel sauce which I paid $1 for & the cup wasn't even halfway full. I don't mind paying for extra sauce, but at least give me a whole cup or even half.

3rd & will be my final visit. Came here to try the weekend special the Mango Rainbow Bowl. It didn't look anything like the picture of the bowl on Instagram. On the picture it looked like the toppings were covered in sauce. My sauce was at the bottom of the bowl. I didn't have any avocados. I went back in to get some & the guy making the bowls says he can't take it back. So some avocados were sprinkled on after the fact. They should've taken my bowl & just remade it the CORRECT way. I started leaving notes in the uber app asking you to leave the scallions off of my BYO bowl bc I’m never requesting they be added. In fact I do the BYO bowl on purpose so that onions can’t get added by mistake..
